That's been posted on several media outlets...there aren't any recruits much left to plunder...I think we got some of the best?

Yep its official and on ESPN...retiring? He had his arse handed to him too many times....all 423 Miamuh fans were unhappy....back to the dark ages again.

We can take legal ownership of the Dade-Broward-Palm Beach area now.

I'm sure Miami gave him the option to be fired or retire. Crazy, though.

Ok, found out a few things...scratch Cristobol off the search list...Miamuh cant come close to affording him..he has a 10 million dollar buyout right now and it decreases by two million every year. Miamuh is BROKE. Richt spent one million dollars of HIS OWN money to help get an indoor practice facility.

Next Syracuse HC Babers would be contacted, but does he want to step down and what could UM afford to pay him?
Mark Stoops of UK was mentioned, which I find comical, why leave after building your program??? and he would require $$$$$

Someone who is viable would be Lane Kiffin, who definitely wants to be Joey Freshwater and build a program.

Another name brought up is Butch Davis...who knows his way around bag men and was fired at UNC for antics. He would have UM in the NCAA jailhouse in no time
:rotflmao:

So what thinks Gator Board????

Unfortunately it probably will be Kiffin...and that is not good news. That guy is an offensive genius and stud recruiter and easily the scariest name on the list.

That is puzzling...UM s problem was with its offense..not defense ?

Better for us imo than Kiffin.

Of course, they had to..UM is not on solid ground with athletic funds..poor fan support and the TV money split with the acc is what is holding them together. ESPN will form the new acc sports channel this year and it rolls out in August.

They have had hard time competing in acc sports like basketball, track & field most due to economics...plenty of athletes in the area...but most want to go where there is prestige and a chance to earn $$$. Even baseball is affected and its unbelievable that such an area sees top athletes go elsewhere. Miamuh used to be a force in baseball.

They don't have any well off boosters willing to donate $$$$. Its a private school and sells only marginal merchandise and state license plates.

The miami 247 and canes insight were good reads the last couple days. They went from florida beating them by 50 to now we lose everybody and they will win by 35.. not to mention they are taking all the croots..

Manny Diaz has just fired his entire offensive coaching staff....gee I bet kids who play offense are thrilled and wondering what the future holds.

Meh... Anyone thinking we'll destroy Miami is a little over optimistic.

I'm confident we'll win, but the first game of the season facing a power 5 opponent, in a rivalry game, with two Florida teams?

And we lose pretty much the entire OL? Its gonna be a fight for more than 3 Qs IMO.

I don't think so. If we're in trouble, Miami is in shambles. Not to mention: Completely new Head Coach, completely new philosophy, and from what I've seen so far he has no idea what he's doing.

Furthermore: I have seen Mullen, and I know for a fact he knows what he's doing. We might only lose Sunseri this off-season to an NFL team, so I think it's safe to assume we're likely going to crush Miami who will be completely adjusting.
