This is the most fun I can take out of the disaster that has unfolded - predicting the roster next year before recruits arrive:
I am going to assume that the CC 9 are all gone.

Kyle Trask, RS Soph
Jake Allen, RS Freshman
RB:
Lamical Perine, Junior
Malik Davis, Soph
Adarius Lemons, Soph
WR:
Dre Massey, RS Senior
Tyrie Cleveland, Junior
Freddie Swain, Junior
Josh Hammond, Junior
Kadarius Toney, Soph
DaQuan Green, Soph
TE:
Cyontai Lewis - RS Senior
Moral Stephens - RS Senior
Kalif Jackson - RS Junior
Kemore Gamble - Soph
OG/OC:
Antonio Riles - RS Senior
Andrew Mike - RS Senior
Fred Johnson - Senior
Tyler Jordan - Senior
TJ McCoy - RS Junior
Nick Buchanan - RS Junior
Brett Heggie - RS Soph
OT:
Kavaris Harkless - RS Senior
Jawaan Taylor - Junior
Stone Forsythe - RS Soph
Jean DeLance - RS Soph (Transfer from Texas)
TJ Moore - RS Freshman
DE:
Luke Ancrum - RS Junior
Antonneous Clayton - Junior
Jachai Polite - Junior
Jabari Zuniga - Junior
Zach Carter - RS Soph
Elijah Conliffe - Soph - maybe shoud list as DT? on roster as DE
DT:
Khairi Clark - RS Senior
Taven Bryan - RS Senior - (may go pro)
Marlon Dunlab - RS Soph (Transfer from NC State)
TeDarrel Slayton - Soph
Kyree Campbell - Soph
LB:

Mcarthur burnett - RS Soph
Quincy Lenton - RS Soph
Marco Wilson - Soph
CJ Hendersen - Soph
Brad Stewart - Soph

Shawn Davis - Soph
K:
Eddy Pineiro - RS Junior (he could go pro)
P:
Tommy Townsend - RS Junior - maybe
This is before ANY of the new recruits come in and not including the CC 9. This is not a bad roster. The biggest holes I see are at QB, LT, and TE on offense, and on defense depth is the primary issue. The secondary should be in great shape next year, and the LB's should be at least decent. The DL looks OK from numbers and depth.
Add in a decent transition class and there is no reason a decent coach can't come in and win right away if their system is decent. The big assumption being they know how to develop a QB.

Great post.
Franks is gonna transfer, no way he comes back after these fiascos.
Ain't no one leaving. Perine should win his spot back, though. He's been running so much better.
Can't see any of them leaving. We may have a few transfers, because the talent coming in -- should they remain, will easily start ahead of a few of them.
None of them are leaving, they'll all be back. Our TE's have had some serious troubles these last few years -- since our quarterbacks never threw them the motherfricking ball.
Ain't no one goin' early, that's for sure.
Outside of Bryan, no one even has the chance of going early. I also think Bryan stays one year -- he seems like that kind of guy who really loves the Gators. Obviously he may leave, but just the background of his pa' and the way he speaks I just don't think it's very likely unless he's projected first round and can't say no.
As for the LBs, DBs -- only the seniors are going 100%. I think everyone knew this, but who knows what the depth chart looks like. A lot of things will be shaken up by next year.
K/P, not going anywhere, I don't think.
Even at QB -- Del Rio can run any offense where he doesn't have to run. Even if it's pass heavy, he was reading the defense much, much better than in the past. I also think he'll have many more weapons to be successful.
Trask could run a spread/option style, but it'll probably end up being Corral who takes it.
On defense, I think we fix it with a great hire. This is one of the reasons I'd love to see Strong come home, even if he didn't do well at Texas -- I kind of think he never had a chance out there, and got fricked over.
We're in a better position right now than we've been in a while.

I would include OT Ivey as I don't see him as more than a 4th round pick....and he would leave money on the table if he left as a junior....but kids do stupid things.
I still see 18 starters returning on offense and defense and the new coach would inherit a lot of talent...no reason to not be successful except at QB finding the right person.
LDR could be a stop gap and win games. Franks is still another year away at least. Trask could be serviceable, but from video of practices he appears to have slower release. Allen could be the man also. I don't want a true frosh to start and we have to endure growing pains all over again.....unless he is does the Fromm job of managing the offense.

Corral will start in 2018.

And no way Franks is here as a quarterback next year. He's going to have PTSD after this year.
Corral will start 100%, although I could see someone putting Del Rio ahead just to see what happens.
But Corral will be here in December, and I think he's got the mentality to be productive immediately.

Also add in Marcell Harris as a safety since I'm sure he will be awarded a sixth year since he never played a down for his senior season and remember that he was our leading tackler in 2016 and would immediately make the secondary awesome.
If somehow someway we hired Petrino it would mean immediate access to JC recruits since he has been getting top notch kids from JC ranks for years and has had proven results.

A lot depends on the new coach . I think Del Rio will never play again for us . He is the least mobile QB and he has a weak arm . Right now I would think Franks or Trask start next year or a freshmen.
Perine could be the starter especially if Davis missing the spring.

A competent coach can come in and do some damage with a roster like that
