No fluke, Florida's loss to Kentucky shows exactly how far the Gators have fallen ... and how long it will take to climb back on top

I think we are overreacting to this game in the same way we overreacted in the CHSU game.
Kentucky came in a lot more motivated (31 years will do that) and our offensive gameplan was abysmal.
Physicality was a reason for the yards, but not so much the score. If we had one more touchdown we would have been saying it was just another bad luck year against a hard fought team.
Adjust the offensive gameplan and we can at the very least:
Control TOP, keep the defense (a weak spot) off the field.
And: Score enough points to make the OTHER team more one dimensional to catch up.
However, if our offense can't score points -- it's just what we've seen every single year since 2009, regardless of what the defense is doing or what it looks like.

Interesting read, frustrating to see our blue chip ratio so low. And even some of our highly rated players play like 3 stars. Man we need a TRANSCENDANT QB like Watson was at Clemson.

It seems like it's pretty simple. UK has had the same coach for years. They are running the same systems with the same coaches and are comfortable with everything. They also had the fire under them about breaking the streak.
UF on the other hand is breaking in completely new coaches and systems. It was a terrible time to play a team like Ky. If you play them at the end of the season you win by 2 tds.
The important thing for now is to keep the team moving into a positive direction and having all the players believing in what the coaches are trying to do.
