No injuries to report for the game, which is always a positive. Mullen says that he expects a few players to be back next game.

I'd bet this had a lot to do with some of the defensive issues. Lacking front 7 depth vs a hurry up offense is tough.

Luckily USCe and Aggie are next so we have time to get everyone back. Aggie looked like absolute dog shite.

Lack of depth was a huge issue. The defensive effort was really lacking at the end and a lot of that was just being exhausted from a lack of rotation.

Mullen lies to opposing coaches, what makes you think he'd tell us the truth?

In all honesty, joking aside: He doesn't release the why at all. It could be rona, injuries, suspension, no one actually knows. I think some guys who were injured were leaked (Moon), and I know we had some COVID casualties. Aside from that I have no idea.

A lot of those guys were on the two-deep for our defense.
