How about this perspective- Mac is a mediocre offensive Head Coach at best unless he has superior talent (see Alabama) even then he's only decent and his OC is worse (there's a reason Nuss was fired by Saban-- and he was fired, no one goes to from Alabama to a a job at the same level for a coach on the hot seat) .
Unfortunately, Mac is also the worst recruiting HC we've had since people started seriously tracking recruiting (no Florida team has ever had three consecutive recruiting classes outside the top 10 since recruiting began to be ranked- that includes a coach's last year, the new coach's transition class and his second class).
Essentially, Mac is substantially worse than Muschamp because unlike Muschamp, Mac wont leave us with any talent. He's our Derek Dooley with slightly better coaching skills.

This will be UF's best offense since the 2008 team next year,
You want to bet on that? I think they might be the best offense since 2009 (the 2009 offense was actually good they just weren't as good as 2008), but its iffy- 2012 was also probably better.

I've been saying for a few weeks that I needed to see them go 8-1 through the first 9 games. I may have been able to forgive a flukey, tight loss, but this was fricking embarrassing. We got 25 yards rushing against team that gave up 500 yards rushing two weeks ago.
I'm over it. I
I'm over it. I

Let's be real, if we're lucky we're looking for a new coach in 2017. Worst case scenario we have to keep Mac through 2018 or 2019 and the next coach has to do a complete rebuild and get rid off all Mac's sub SEC talent.

this team is the 2016 version of a will muschamp coached team

These is not a offense that will make up for all of the talent we will loose on offense. Any player getting a 3rd grade or better should just go ahead and leave early. Next year will be a rebuilding year and then if we are lucky Mac will be fired .

Mac is a coach that can beat Mediocre teams it is as plain as that. He has now a grand total of 4 wins against teams with winning records out of his 16 that includes Kentucky this year.

looking that way, may have to get used to 8-4 every year

Agreed completely. I can't wait to see the spin for LDR or the 12 yards rushing. We've played this way all year. Only UT and arky had the teams to make us pay. 6-6 here we come.

To be fair, I think a dog could run this offense better.

Just thought you should know the True Freshman should be a Senior in High School QB on a Muschamp USC team was 22/28 with 254yds and 2 TD's today.

In defense of Mac and Nuss I will say there were a ton of open throws-- if they could go to a program stacked with talent and not be responsible for replenishing that talent and/or training young talent they could be awesome on offense. That is to say, they might be good OCs at programs with a decided talent edge as a HC Mac right now is probably worse than Muschamp right now by a good margin, Muschamp always had a much higher ceiling than Mac he just needed to use some school as a training ground and Foley decided Florida football didn't matter all that much so he could use the Gators.
