re: Now I am glad Mullen put Jones in for Trask so often

I actually made the exact same point regarding Mullen and Quarterbacks.
And it's far from a Quarterback battle, I don't think anyone is suggesting that AR15 is going to be the #1 guy, just that he's a dynamite player and he will likely see the field quite a bit this season.
He's a different type of runner (thunder) than Emory (lightning), so he'll have some very interesting packages for him, and honestly I can't wait to watch him start because he is the full package.

The practice reports from some of your insiders make it sound like Emory isn't pulling away though and he's struggling with the easy throws.

You make 8,000 points instead of staying on topic I sometimes just chose and pick what to respond too instead of responding to them all

I defended Franks to a fault and Straws was correct about Trask. When Im wrong I will admit it. Franks was a very good runner but passing he had the bad habit of holding the ball too long and was turnover prone. He does have prototype NFL size and arm strength and he may stick with the league...who knows?

You'd be surprised what insiders are willing to write to keep subscriptions flowing.

I would definitely spend less time worrying about Mullen and Quarterbacks, honestly.
It'll shake out just fine with either Emory or Richardson. Feleipe Franks is long gone, and all of the guys on the roster at the position are better than he is.
Whoa, so hard to parse. So many points made.
Maybe your inability to read more than two sentences (or the first sentence) is why you struggle to make good arguments.

Maybe people make one point and then you bring up other other stuff that has very little to nothing to do with the original point just to act like you’re the smartest guy in the room and I don’t feel like getting into a ten page argument like djsdawg and others do
Also, reports aren’t coming from a subscription site. They could be bullshite but this guy doesn’t usually do that.

I can see him holding a clipboard for 5-10 years. Not saying it will happen but he has the build they all love.

Sounds like you got a personal problem.
"Don't worry about Mullen with QBs" seems pretty concise to me, but I definitely won't be hurting your sensibilities with three sentence posts anymore, don't worry.

Nah, no personal problems on my end.

Word is around camp that Richardson has looked really, really good and that Emory is still struggling to throw.
This is an understatement. According to people and insiders I trust, Richardson is the better QB by far and its not close.
This is looking like a Franks over Trask situation.

Don't care about practice reports, let's see what they do come gametime.

An old saying "the creme always rises to the top"...except with Mullen vs Franks/Trask
But if AR is really really heads and shoulders better than Emory...then we will see it.
I honestly think Trask was a lot closer in equal talent than most (including me) realized.

I just hope it’s figured out by Bama.
If it isn’t, Bama is going to wax us, and it’s going to be 2011ish bad.

Box, apples to oranges. In 2011 we had Capt Igloo Cooler as our OC and Muschamp as HC. We had two RBs who were about 175 lbs each...fast...but Bama had NFL LBers that year. A QB in Brantley who was good...but not Trask'ed and after Brantley suffered a severe leg injury, we had a true frosh Driskel who could run but not throw. Then we inserted Brisset as another true frosh.
We wont be depending on a true frosh this year. Emory has been on campus 4 yrs now.

All I’m saying is that I am worried. If Jones doesn’t show that he is a gamer on gamedays, we are in serious trouble.

I'll put my two days of reputation on the line and say that if Anthony Richardson takes over, we are going to be a force.
He is a legitimate championship-tier Quarterback for Mullen's system.
Big.
Strong.
Good arm.
Intelligent.
Humble.
It's a really, really good combination.
However, Mullen is known for playing the older player, but AR15 is legitimately the type of player that if you put him in for a drive or two, he may take over the game.
