Remember how Mac yelled at KT? Yeah he can't do that to Jack's son because it might hurt his NFL chances so Del Rio is probably the starter unless he's injured until he graduates.

He won't get that long. If he starts LDR after this year we'll have a losing season next year. Michigan is going to destroy us. The tale of two hires.

Yeah - Harbough is a much much much better coach.

They're saying that the next practices will be open, and that the freshmen get some reps.

as much as i am disapointed in the team and the QB play, i dont think it is appopriate to call out any player as being garbage. we as fans should be better than that. imo

This is not directed at anyone
Why is it every team in college seems to have better QB play than us? I watched as many games as i could yesterday and the only team I saw where a QB couldnt complete a simple pass was ours and LSU.but he was playing Bama so he gets a pass
Every QB in the Big 12 looks like friggan Dan Marino compared to us. And dont give me that they dont play defense in that conf excuse, we miss guys who are wide open

Because we don't revel in Florida's losses you bitch.
Del rio is unacceptable at QB. I'm still okay with Mac because we have players running wide arse open all over the field and we can't hit them. That's what pisses me off. LDR throwing it 37 times makes me shake my head, too. 12 yards rushing is absolutely unacceptable too. Against anybody.
I still think we are a quarterback away. Arkansas did not respect Del Rio at all so they stacked up the box and he couldn't beat them. We gotta go with Franks or Trask for the rest of the season and let them take their lumps in these last four games and have an open competition next spring and go from there. I'll be down on Mac when I stop seeing wide open wide receivers running all over the field. For now I think we just have to find a reliable quarterback. That's where it starts and ends with this offense.

It happens, we went from a Defensive Guru at HC, to another defense first power run guy in Mac.
Don't tell me that's not what he is- look at Mac and Nuss's Bama teams and then look at Bama now that they have a real OC.

And I NEVER post on Gameday you fricking asswipe. I'm too nervous or busy actually watching the game to be worried about reading your silly arse trolls.

I watched a lot of football yesterday too. fricking vanderbilt has better QB play than Florida.
If that's not coaching, I just don't know what to say.

The best part of LDR's game was mental. His understanding of the playbook and where everybody is and being able to distribute the ball accurately was supposed to cover up his lack of physical talent and mobility. His knee injury has messed him up mentally. Before, he was staying within himself and just picking and popping yards down the field. Now he's too aggressive when he needs to get the 5 or 6 yards that the defense is giving him and too conservative when it's 3rd and long and he goes with the 5 or 6 yard check down.
His mind isn't right and hasn't been since the injury. It's time for him to step aside and be a serviceable backup quarterback and let Franks or Trask take the reigns just to give the fanbase some hope. I still see an offense where there are players running open all over the field and if we have a quarterback that can hit them, we will be in good shape.

I'd roll with Appleby the rest of the season, at least he has a arm and some mobility.

Agreed, save the redshirts for next year since this season is lost anyways. Tell LDR he can stay but he'll have to win the job back from Trask or Franks if he wants to play next year.
Also, does anyone else think LDR is injured? Obviously he has a weak arm to start with, but since he's been back he's thrown some real ducks where he just doesn't drive the ball down the field with his legs. Is he playing on a bad leg or just have the injury still in his mind?

I'd ask Frank or Trask if they want to play this season and leave it up to them if they want to burn a year of eligibility. It's not like Mac's likely to be there when they graduate anyway.

I was able to watch the game and post. As well as. A lot of other hogs and gators. Just admit you're fair weather.

What the frick? I'm a Gator. Not a fan. Get the frick out of here with that fair weather shite. Because I haven't given up on this staff and don't post on a message board during games doesn't make me a fair weather fan. I'll be in the stands on Saturday cheering my arse off for my Gators while you'll be at home rooting like hell for South Carolina so you can come back to this message board and troll all the Gator fans who want to see their team succeed.
