I dont have a good feeling about this one. Hope we do well but LSU is pretty strong on the lines

On the lines and on the perimeter.

Mullen was calling the quick passes to the WRs and getting 5-6 yards a play. LSU has better athletes at CB than MSU did.

Gonna need a lot more intermediate throws. Ole Miss had a few chances on some deep plays, but their OL wasn't able to hold up.

Need to be able to mix it up. I'd like to see Cleveland get a few shots deep next week. Hes got the size and strength to go and get it.

EDIT: This is a game, as much as I've said Pierce is our best pure RB, that we really need Scarlett's size and power. Him and Perine gave LSU hell in BR 2 years ago with the north and south game.

We need to be able to run the ball up the middle with some success.

Let's chill a bit there...this team is still growing we aren't winning out most likely. Have a lot to fix still. Year one. Just enjoy each win and seeing good coaching finally. Don't start dreaming titles this year or you'll end up not enjoying it. Raise expectations past reality, you end up always feeling shorted. 9-3 feels a safe bet for me. One I'd be very happy with as a fan..and foaming at the mouth for next season to start.

The lack of this is whats hurting us more than ppl know. In the 1st down run Scarlet had late, their were 2 unblocked defenders that met him in the backfield. Scarlet was able to deflect the hits and lean forward to get the first. Other than the big td run Scarlet had last week vs Tenn i havent seen another time our interior push anyone out of the way

Im already happy, we matched our total from last year already so for me everything here on out is a surprise. Help is coming. 3 top LBS, and we have some bigboys on the OL lined up with a QB. A healthy secondary next year will make a helluva difference as well

Big bad LSU is just like MSU...very good DL. Average on offense. We are at home and will have the noise with us and not against us this game.

LSU has beaten Miamuh...which is over rated, AU which, again, not a stout AU squad that is missing a run game.

Wooooo, big deal. MSUs DL is a force. UK has proven to be a damn good team.

I do think we cant duplicate anything close to yesterdays offensive gameplan...which LSU is watching film on as I type imo. Mullen will scheme up another plan and confuse them. Our defense is very capable of holding them...their run game isn't nearly as good as the past few years. QB is a manager.

Its Aranda vs Grantham, two braintrusts on defense. Their OC I actually recall back in the 1970s when we had high scoring affairs with them and he was their QB. Id take Mullen anyday.

It all boils down to the same thing...can we outrush them? I like our WRs and RBs a lot more.
