Loss History

Just wanted to put a perspective on our loss at red stick to make it less painful for some of you.

1996 we lost to the girls school in the last game of the season...it was a close score....but they beat us up with their defense at home. We won the SECCG and lo and behold we went on to play for all the marbles...against you know who.

2006 we lost to AU in the lovely plains of JHS. It was something like the 7th game of the season...we started out season btw ranked 18th in some polls. When we lost to AU were # 1 as I recall and dropped...but after the rest of season played out we ended up # 2 against Ohio State which we dispatched quite easily to win it all.

2008 and Ole Miss around the fifth or sixth game of the year I believe...Tebows famous speech and we righted ship and kicked azz in Orange Bowl playing Oklahoma.

I honestly believe that we can win out and go to Atlanta 11-1...win the SEC and we WILL be in the playoffs...dont scoff....but its true. LSU will have hard time with Bama coming up...would love to have rematch and it could be a different game in Atlanta. Not betting the mortgage...but we will see what happens.
