100%, and it also matters what the talent, age and state the previous HC left the program. Who the frick knows how good of a coach someone is when they take over a successful program?

After year 2 with Muschamp, you would have thought he was a genius -- but if you paid attention you'd know that he did it with a championship level defense that he didn't recruit or really develop.

Right now, even Charlie Strong to me feels like a better fit than most other candidates -- he runs a spread offense and seems to be doing pretty well for himself at USF, but he also did well at Louisville.

1 season for taking over a team that was already championship level doesn't tell us anything whatsoever.

Although I will say: He is playing a shite ton of transfers, looking at the depth chart.
