On 3rd downs:

10/14 125 yards, 2 TDs, 0 INTs.

Hasn't had the greatest numbers this year, but this will be a big key for UF tomorrow.

You know, I was thinking before that he really does well throwing on third down situations but never actually took a look.

I hope he can continue this trend, because he will have his hands full tomorrow.

On the first offensive series, they should try a deep pass.

Go route to either Calloway, Powell, or Robinson.

I know McElwain wants to protect Grier with his inexperience and his health with being banged up last week.

But with our schedule, you have to let him loose at some point.

Maybe first play of the game, go deep.

We dont want to have our crowd get quiet if we go three and out on first series. Our best bet is to get our 40-45 yd line at least then launch one deep. But it wont win the game, only running the ball will.

I know we have been nickle and dimeing on our pass plays but we have to realize coaches know what we have and what we The coaches are willing to run twice and throw once to try and keep chains moving. When you see runs up the middle twice in a row and we gain 2 yds...dont fret...its part of the gameplan.

Well...I was dead wrong on the running the ball statement

Actually Butch blew this game badly...he puckered up after midway of the 3rd qt. Dobbs wasnt getting it done throwing anyway...but UT put a beatdown on us with the run game...we should have never ever won this game. Our defense made so many missed tackles it wasnt funny. But we never waivered and teams now know they will have to hammer us into the ground if they wanna win..as long as we are standing...it aint over!
