I'm gonna say he hits the 1k Mark. Has a monster year goes top 20 in the draft. I believe him and Xvavier Henderson emerge as our top WR duo with Shorter also heavy in the mix with either Whit or Fraziars also.

What yall think his stats will be? top pass catchers?

I had high hopes for cope when he first came to Florida but I have cooled on him. He doesn't have good hands and seems afraid to get hit. I'll be shocked if he has more then 600 yards receiving this year.

that dude couldn't catch a cold last season and he wondered why he wasn't targeted much.

Anybody think Tony would end up the pure WR he became last yr and go top 20? Just saying

He has elite talent idk I'm hoping he realizes this year it's his time to be the guy.

Toney was explosive ever since he stepped foot on campus. i haven't seen anything from Cope that gives me confidence.

Peter you must be in Colorado smoking some good stuff from some Mary Jane place comparing Toney to Cope.

Toney was explosive and shifty the day he stepped on campus cope just had well just had 4 stars and was a better athlete in high school then most of the people he played against when he stepped into SEC competition he was and average Joe ahh Jacob.

Look he may develop into a decent receiver by his senior year. I honestly don't see it and when he sees he is not going to be in the starting rotation for receivers this fall and is down the depth chart. He may enter his name in the Portal.

Put me in the group of non believers in Copeland reaching 1,000 yds....maybe half that....he doesnt have that killer instinct that I like to see in offensive players. I hope Im wrong and he busts out...but time will tell. I like the ability of Shorter to get deep and strike fear in DBs.

Xzaviar Henderson may be the dude this year after getting his feet wet a little last year.

I highly doubt he gets 1k. Mullen likes to spread the ball. Now add in a running QB and loaded backfield and TE group. I’ll say 700 yards

Cope has elite physical traits and I'm hoping he buys in this yr and is ready to be the man.

Idk I think he has a big year

Peter, no one doubts his skill level...but he needs to be the dude this year...I dunno, maybe being looked at as the next guy might motivate him. ???? Time will tell and those who think that we wont throw the ball much may be in for a surprise...we may not be the 2020 team but I think the forward pass is still needed and Emory may change folk's minds minds about him.

Can’t catch and has attitude problems. I doubt he does much more than 500 yards and a handful of tds. Which is fine, but nothing scaring other teams.

The only thing I will give him is that he's a strong runner when he does have the ball. It looks like it sucks to tackle him.

That being said, I think he was overshadowed by a lot of other players, and that he will have a lot of attention from the staff this year.

I mean think about the guys who were here when he was a Freshman, and the guys last year:

Swain, Hammond, Cleveland, Kyle Pitts, Toney, Trevon Grimes, Van Jefferson. Those are all guys in the NFL lol.

I partially concur Straws that he wasnt the guy last year because of the ttalent and experience in front of him...He may break out this year and I hope so. Shorter is a very capable WR but needs help to keep defense from ganging on him. I think Xzavier may also break out and has the skillset to really burn defenses if he is indeed ready to be a f/t starter....if he is...then look out cause he has the most speed of all the WR group.

Cope is only worried about money. Too bad he doesn’t have the hype around him to get anything… except for maybe a local car dealership commercial.

Not all players mature at the same level...some take longer than others. Copeland is now a r/s junior and history is full of players who dont have the light turn on til they are juniors. 2021 will tell us if Copeland has had enough reps and practice that he breaks out.

Finch you are being a bit harsh about caring about $$$ the majority of players come from disadvantaged families and some were raised by grandmothers. If you never had to sleep in cars or from apartment to apartment you aren't in the position to understand.

There are a lot of players who are thinking of $$$...what I dont like is the players who quit on the team because they dream of being high draft choices. I come from a bygone era of players wouldn't dare quit and sit out games for selfish reasons. The HC would be telling scouts that so and so is lazy,,,,after he kicked him off the team. Coaches now coddle players more.

But I see the flipside. UF receives several billion dollars from Pepsi because of Gatorade. Van Stokey bought the rights back in the late 1960s and then eventually sold rights to Pepsi...UF will always receive royalties.
Players get squat. Dr Robert Cade was more than a scientist, he was a Gator fan....RIP Oh and by the way Dr Cade and staff were one of the first to experiment with dialysis machines and his emphasis was kidney diseases.

this kid is thinking more about making money in college than scoring TDs and winning championships. you know, things that help your draft stock. ever heard of the NFL? you know, where the millions$$$ are?

this kid barely has 5 TDs in 2 years here.

maybe if he performed more like kyle pitts, who's making $32.9 million in ATL, i wouldn't be so "harsh" on him. he's a scrub and until i see him go across the middle for a catch and break tackles on a regular basis, he's always going to be a scrub.

Finch do you know Gator football? First of all even Toney didnt break out his first year...they dont get off the yellow school bus and just automatically start....or even take snaps most of the time.

Secondly Copeland had some pretty damn good WRs in front of him.

So now you want him to be Kyle Pitts? What are you drinking Finch ? Let me have a bottle of that.

Third...glad to know you know whats going on in Copeland's mind. Are you room mates ?

Fourth, Did you see the video of his signing day annoucement ??? His mother got up and walked away when he brought out the Gator cap, she wanted him to sign with Bama. I felt bad for the kid..his signing day anouncement should have been a celebration and instead his own mother shite on him.

Learn a little more about Gator football Finch and get back with us...and yes...Im being harsh on you.

Finch Finch Finch....some players do excell early but one size doesnt fit all.

Pray tell me sire why did Bowman not play a ton last year?? He was a 5* recruit transfer from Clemson and yet he was redshirted ??? Asking for a friend.

Oh BTW except for Harvin and Jacobs your list has leaks and you will see that their snaps were somewhat limited early on.

I think scrub is a bit harsh. If he could actually just figure out how to catch he could be really good lol. As is he’s fine. Will occasionally burn someone.
