I think I'm just going to stop posting here, anyway, man. Can't take this "blame everything except for the guy laying an egg in every game that matters" narrative that the entire Gators fanbase has taken.

Is reddit more receptive your criticism of franks?

Youre the only fan closing his eyes on every other position on the field. This team is not good, man.
Again, Dan knows a thing or two about QB's so if he says Franks is better then.... If sometime during the season he pulls Franks then so be it but against 2 bad teams he has not so that makes me think Franks is ahead of Trask by a good margin in the things we doent see ie practice and film room

You must really hate mullen right now lol. I’d be surprised if franks is replaced unless he’s hurt.

I'm telling you, right or wrong, Mullen is all the way in on Franks. This is basically a lost year, we know it, he knows it.
He had every opportunity to put in trask and throw it today and he didn't do it.

Yep, vs a weak opponent today wouldve been the perfect time to make the move so Trask couldve gotten in a good half of football before going to Tenn this week.

I actually agree with you. I see us starting Trask and him playing good enough to get some wins. I think we will be wondering why we didn't him start earlier. He will end up leading us to a 2nd half win @tenn then a win a Miss st

If Mullen even thought for a second that Trask could win a game for us that Franks would lose...he would switch, but he doesn't.
There are a lot of blame sandwiches to be shared by the offense and defense. I expect a tough tough game against UT because they will have an axe to grind for last season's last second hail Mary TD pass. If we lose..it wont be all Franks fault just as if we win it wont be Franks who wins it. There are eleven guys on the field and they all need to contribute.
Mullen isn't pulling Franks...just watching that video and from interviews its obvious. He is trying to instill a lot of confidence in Franks because he sees the potential. 6'6" 240 alone gives him the ability that a lot of other QBs don't have.
Just look at Peyton Manning, I remember like it was yesterday when Manning was a SENIOR in 1997 and we played in the Swamp...we had lost our Heisman winner and we weren't nearly as good...but we beat UT and Manning had jumpy feet and threw a 88 yd pick to the house. Manning did ok afterwards.
Mullen knows a lot about QBs and how to teach them and how to handle them. He expects bumps along the way. As I have stated before...Danny Wuerffel was benched twice by Spurrier because he threw too many picks. Spurrier had the luxury then of having another QB who was very good, Terry Dean to put in. Mullen doesn't have that.

If you stop coming it will only improve the board. You do nothing but blame Franks .
Maybe your the one turning an eye to the real problem. The entire team including coaches are to blame for this team performance so far .

Maybe....just maybe you should look at the mirror and see your problem, you hate Franks for last year and you thought Trask would be named the starter and imploded when he wasn't.
Maybe you should stop posting here...its a broken record with you...on and on about Franks this and Franks that. I know one thing from my own eyes...he is much better than last year....worlds better. Is he a finished product? No. But I defend him against your silly childish attacks.
You refuse to see the massive problems we have with our OL, DL, LBs & DBs. Did you even notice that # 11 Joseph didn't start yesterdays game? It was a message to him to not freelance and stay in your area. I watch everything and notice things....like Kyree Campbell starting at nose and Clark alongside him before we started subbing
everyone on a hot day. Conliffe got a lot of snaps.
I see missed assignments on the OL, the TEs who miss blocks badly. Stephens cost us with a flag to negate a first down pass and then totally whiffed a block that if made would have been a first down run. Coaches will see it on film...but the younger TEs should get more snaps.
You meanwhile continue to focus on one player. Get over it.

I don't want Trask either. Jones. Let him learn. We aren't winning much this year so build for later.
Jones at QB. Davis/Pern/Pierce at RB and Scarlett for change of pace as second back in the two back set.
Let them go.
Also...GIVE TONEY THE DAMN BALL PLEASE.
Trask must be terrible if he is still not looked at. So go with the future.
