Would like to see the ball tossed around a lot.
Like always I am more concerned about pass blocking a little more than run blocking.

I'm interested in the starting 5 of the OL and who we have starting at WR. Have a lot of young talent that I would like to see take a huge step at WR. Excited as always for O&B debut.

Here's to No Injuries!!!!!!!!

I'd like to see 1s v 1s, I think 1s v 2s leads to some skewed opinions.

Its hard to judge OL when so many that are inserted wont be starters and some are walk ons....plus a whole different animal when playing real live football against a foe. The run game is very important and we cannot finish low in the SEC stats running the ball.

And Montana, the spring ball game is really a glorified scrimmage...always has been and always will be. A reward for the team that busted arse for weeks.

I do want to watch RBs...but its very difficult when so many movable peices are involved. Watching QBs is pretty easy...want to see our two r/frosh guys throw and see how they deliver.

Im hungry for football and other than baseball & softball the long hot summer is ahead and Sept never gets here soon enough. Its great we are on TV in primetime, but instead of SECN, it would be great to be on ESPN 1 or 2.

Who is starting on defense especially at CB and DT. Do we sit players like CeCe, Ivey, and Scarlett?

Clearly everyone will be watching the QBs. Franks v Trask

How much of a run will Toney get? Do we run something interesting to make Michigan scheme for it?

BSB good question...as far as prime starters, there shouldnt be much risk playing them for a while because it isnt full blown hard nose football...but of course when bodies get tangled up...anything can happen.

LBs & DBs will be interesting to watch....just seeing them move with the flow and reaction speed. Is Moon playing? I am not sure he go to go or not.

Toney, a question mark...but hope he does get a chance to showcase his skillset.

I don't think we will see something special for him until fall but Mac could have a trick play using him. Something for the fans.

Similiar to how he had Eddie kick from 50+ multiple times.

Edit: Something exciting to get the crowd on their feet and give the recruits/new players a taste of the Swamp.

This scrimmage screams out what I have been posting for a while...Franks isnt quite ready...its obvious that he would make crucial errors during SEC games that could cost us dearly...like it or not. The same problem that Franks had when arriving at UF is still a problem...he gets too fired up. Sure, he has a cannon arm...but the coaches are probably not to like overthrows or zipping the ball to a receiver 4 yds away. The coaches know this leads to picks and losses. He has to turn the motor to idle and cant seem to grasp it or do it. He had the same problem in the Under Armour HS game...too pumped up. The same in that game with UGAs golden boy...he threw his first throw up 10 rows into the seats horizonally!
The coaches are going with experience AND I agree. Everyone threw Del Rio under the bus when a few games before he made them happy...fickle fans? Yeah I think so. He will be healed for fall camp and I think he is handed the ball if healthy.

Franks is obviously the future...but remember, Rex Grossman and Danny both struggled as r/s frosh. The snap experience wasnt there yet and Danny had a weaker arm than JDR....but he learned a lot sitting on the bench when Spurrier inserted another QB.

On to Toney...that kid has shake and bake moves. Remember he played mostly with walk ons and 3rd stringer and so forth...so it showed he makes things happen.

Good to see Moon and the Orange defense throttled the Blue

Do you think Del Rio is good enough for us to win the SEC championship this year ? I don't think so that's why I am one of the fans that want to have one of the freshmen start. Why play a QB that we know is not the future and we know we can't win the conference with ? I don't think Mac will start Del Rio . He knows that Del Rio is not very good and is not the future. Macs seat will get warm if he starts Del Rio.

If Mac walks LDR out there game 1 after what everyone saw Franks do yesterday ppl will have their torches lit
Franks will have his growing pains, i believe most of us are willing to ride the wave than watch LDR start this season

Sure...after the first L the fans will want Mac's head...who the hell are we kidding? Mac isnt going let fans dictate who starts and he shouldnt. There will competition in the fall and if JDR is better suited (for at least a few games) to take the reins..great and if the coaches feel Franks is ready? Great...but fans dont control shite...nor should they.It dont work that way.

...

UF is not losing a game till FSU.

If I'm wrong, I'll eat crow.

Franks is as ready as Grier was at this point.

As I have stated....the coaches will decide and Im fine with that. They watch every nuance of QB practice and thats where Nuss earns his pay.

Box..why do you feel we might lose to the girls school? My feeling is that there are a couple of road games that could be problematic: UK, USCe and neutral site in Jax with the Dawgs....just feel we get bit somewhere. UGA is a year away from being a real force in the east.

A&M, LSU, Vandy, UT all visit us and we trip to Dallas against a depleted meatchicken, tough in UK, skip to my Lou in CoMo, face the poultry packing house and have cupcakes No Colorado, UAB if we dont have a freaking storm cancel a damn game.

I think LDR is mentally broken, after he was injured his head just wasnt in the game imo.

I remember Mac last year talking about the team saying something to the effect that "We just arent that team right now." as far as scoring alot of points. And now this yr after the Spring game he's talking about the Offense being exciting again, how this is the most balanced team we'll have since he's been here. So reading into it, I believe he feels Franks is ready to lead the team, and the offense will no longer be our Achilles heel. Anytime you have a QB with a big arm who can stretch the field it opens up the entire offense. That with an improved O-line with the weapons we have, I believe we'll see lots of scoring this year.

Because FSU is the best team we will play all year, they are more experienced, and more talented at every position.

Im not concerned about UGA yet. Talented yes. Coaching is TBD.

And I think UF is being VERY underestimated by everyone this year, including our fanbase.

I'm expecting big things this year.

Toney looked like the second best QB on the roster. If Mac goes with Del Rio he'll be on the hot seat at the start of 2018.

He had a td that was basically a toss into several players and the Offensive guy luckily caught it. He is a play maker running the Zone Read, but passing wise im not sure.

I need to see more of him passing, is what I'm saying.

He will be coached up to only throw to wide open receivers and with dart speed....they should get open...he will be an option maybe but we cant afford frosh mistake turnovers to kill drives and give the other team the mo.

Franks will have growing pains just like Grier did.

Remember Grier at UK? Or the 1st 3 Qs against Tennessee?

Franks will struggle at times, but the talent around him is better than what Grier had.
