Emory Jones. He scares me as a uga fan. Hope you guys have a better year next season! I'm thinking 8 to 9 wins at the most. Dan Mullen knows Florida and learned under meyer. He also has a knack of developing quaterbacks.

We have had a long list of really good QB's sadly.

Drisk, Briss, Grier, Brantley, etc all ruined by coaching. So we are very timid now sadly. Appreciate it though lol

I was about to come in and say ''let's wait until he actually plays''.

I have faith, but I will believe it when I see it -- seriously, if another QB just comes here to fail we should just run the triple option.

For true triple option wishbone type offense...all you need is a 5' 10" rb/wr as a QB...you only throw 6-10 passes a game and usually a wr is wide open because of the running attack being lethal,

I'll say this.

We have the best QB developing staff since Mullen left that we have had.

If Jones bust, it's because of Jones to me. Brian Johnson is proven, and Mullen is proven. Jones seems to have leadership skills, and seems like he wants the role of leader here. I think that is a very positive sign.

We've had bad coaching for a long time. We blamed players too often and didn't accept that maybe it's coaching. Jeff, Briss, Grier, etc have proven themselves in other schools. It's been our coaching that has ruined great offensive talent.

You know how many schools would sell their souls to have players like Davis, Toney, Robinson, Callaway, Cleveland, etc? While it hasn't been traditionally elite talent, we've had far more than enough to have a very good offense with good coaching. We've just not had good coaching.
