Charleston Southern is bad. They shouldn't put any pressure on Florida offensively.

Honestly, just move your LBs around and you've already created pressure for some QBs.

I wouldn't be shocked if we saw all three QBs in the first few games, two for sure, but it won't stop until Tennessee, but we just don't want to be seen as a dual-QB system.

I posted long time ago that I was watching video practices last spring and Trask held on to the ball too long. And if coaches waved off the defense? Anybody can have good stats in that scenario.

You are going to have to pull for Franks this year Straws. Until there are viable options. Jones is hopefully the answer down the road. But don't discount Franks from being what you don't think he is either. He was like a baby giraffe last year, gangly and not ready to start. He wasn't his fault that Mac & Nuss didn't give him better playcalls either. Mullen will.

We will see screens, jailhouse breaks and trickery until the other teams stop blitzing as much. And now that Franks has gained weight, he just might be an effective runner to keep defenses honest.

We will run the ball a lot and we cant finish 75th in the country in rushing...that's awful. The spread will change all that imo. Can we finish top 15?

The one other thing that we MUST fix is special teams...it was God damn awful last year.

I will pull for Franks when he shuts up the doubters and produces on the field.

Until then, he lost the practices to Trask and has never shown any reason to give him the benefit of the doubt.

Don't come here chirping when he shows out really well over the next three games against the cupcakes.

Let's revisit this conversation after the MSST game.

P.S.: Stop pretending like you're the only one who saw that he held onto the ball too long -- multiple people (myself included) on multiple outlets have said the same thing.

Proof:

It's not a pissing contest, but you're acting like you're not just saying what other people have said. I actually had it in my breakdown of the Spring Game, where I gave real numbers to back up my argument.

Wrong, the reason to give him the benefit of the doubt is that our coaching staff selected him as the QB that gives us the best chance to win, right now, per Coach Mullen. I hope to hell they are right. Get on board the Frank's train, there are still some open seats. Go Gators.

Nope. He has to show it on the field. He's duped coaches before, admittedly worse coaches but this is the SEC. You put up or shut up.

He has not put up, even in the entire Summer where Trask ate his lunch.

Heres a hanky for you Straws to dry your eyes....stop sobbing like a teenage girl. Its a bad look.

So you wont pull for Franks...ahhh ok, that reminds me of a 9 yr old year that takes his marbles and doesn't wanna play games because he cant have his way. Seek help.

Yeah, maybe Moo State beats our arse, I already had it marked down as an L. 11-1-0

I'm rooting for Franks to win, mook. I can not like him as a QB and still hope he's successful, those two aren't tied together.

Save that hanky for yourself for getting so emotional that I won't christen the King who's won nothing.
