Franks received one of the helmut stickers given out on ESPN in reconition for the criticizing he has endured by a lot of fans and playing like a warrior yesterday.

Well done young man.

I might start a thread and call it, "time to give Mullen and Franks their due," wait, never mind.

Much improvement from 2017, question is what IS his ceiling with good coaching? He truly has a chance to be a 4 yr starter at UF. Who would have thunk it?

I thought Francois was the only FSU player that didn’t suck Saturday. He carried that offense. With out them would have lose 50+.

Franks had a horrible year in 2017 because he was no where near ready to play SEC football. 6'6" and maybe at best 210 lbs ...he was too skinny and was totally awkward as a newborn giraffe.

But he decided to tough it out and stay 1 hr longer in weight room and eat well and practice all summer and lived in the film room when he had the time. Mullen deserves a lot of credit, but Franks does also because of the determination. He still hasn't quite developed physically and next year I think a lot of folks will be surprised at how much better he can be.

Francois has been a punching bag all year because of his OL....BUT he also has an attitude problem with them and WRs which leads to a lot of friction in the locker room. Taggart is powerless and the team hasn't bought in at all. The mental hospital is being run by the patients.

What a difference between our schools.
