I just want to make a thread just for CJ Henderson.

That forced fumble on Pope in the 2nd quarter was the play of the game IMO. Had UT scored there, it would have been 23-10, and it was suddenly a ball game.

The effort to get down there to hit him hard enough to force a fumble was unbelievable, and he doesn't even probably try to do that last year.

He has been the best DB all year, and his speed is amazing. I only wish we could see what this defense would have been like with Marco on the other side all year.

Other shout outs:

DL Luke Ancrum - read the screen beautifully to grab that INT when the game was still in doubt.
LB David Reese - tackling machine 11 tackles, 1 FR, .5 tfl
DL Adam Shuler - been a real surprise in the middle. 9 tackles, 1 TFL and 1 QBH
DL Kyree Campbell - has become a solid starter for this team. 7 tackles last night is a lot for his position.
DL Jachai Polite - forced another fumble yesterday, and has 3 FF on the year. Also had UF's only sack of the night.
DB Brian Edwards - 2 PBR and 4 total on the year. He's a work in progress but made some big break ups yesterday.
DB Brad Stewart - 7 tackles, 1 FF, 1 INT. May be UF's 2nd best DB right now.
WR Freddie Swain - Now leading or tied for the lead in catches, yards, and TDs. Might be UF's overall best WR right now. Big surprise to me.
RB Damien Pierce - with limited touches, through 4 games is still UF leading rusher
QB Feleipe Franks - Now tied for 7th nationally with 12 TD passes, which I would have told you was fricking impossible had you said it would happen through 4 games during the off season.

Edit:
RB Lamical Perine - Grown man play. See below lol. How the hell did he get that onside kick?

Good call, BUT!

You forgot about the GROWN MAN play made by Perine on the onside kick attempt. He went up against 3 Vols and came down with that shite

OMG yeah I totally forgot about that when writing this.

I thought for SURE they were going to recover that when I saw the bounce.

How the frick Perine came down with that, I do not know.

Question. Does Perine normally play special teams? Did the coaches suspect the OSK? If so then hats off to special teams coaches.

Bengal watch the games and you will be surprised at how many starters play on special teams. Thanks one reason we are so good at it now. CeCe Jefferson even plays on STs.

Team is hungry for snaps...unlike the last coaching staff didn't strive to make everyone better. Spurrier was a master at it. Ron Zook coached some great STs when he was under Spurrier.

Thanks reel they never show who is on the front lines in most kick offs only the returners or who gets called for a block in the back and I’m no good at reading their numbers.

We were taken completely by surprise. Vols had it drawn up perfectly but failed to execute. They had 3 on 1, and one of those three was supposed to tackle/block/box out Perine, leaving 2 for the ball. Instead, he also looked back for the ball and it gave Perine a shot at it.
