The 44 to 11 score was extremely misleading. Four of the Gator TDs came after drives of less than 30 yards, and 3 came following drives of less than 12 yards. South Carolina's weak offense actually managed more total net yards than the Gators yesterday, 193 to 183.

That is from another board. I hate after games like this when people assume that if the offense didn't score every point at the end of an 80 yard drive, that it was all just luck. As if special teams and defense doesn't do any work on trying to create these situations. Or as if an HC and OC can't design a game plan around a slow starting offense.

Our offense alone isn't a world beater, obviously, but these arguments that just don't seem to get that you can scheme 60 minutes to set your offense up for the things they can do by working the other two phases of the game drives me nuts, especially because it is ignoring some of the more impressive stuff our coaching staff is doing IMO.

Needed to vent... that feels much better.

When your special teams and defense gives your team a short field to work with TD drives are going to be short. No need to penalize a team for it. Our offense needs work though.
