Yes, another Georgia kid and probably a wr, no? From Decatur another suburb of Hotlanta. I just saw that he is a DB prospect and we are getting loaded with them. It is always better to have a lot of recruits at the same position when you factor in attrition....and we usually have a few players who are coveted by the pros and leave early at CB.

I used to live in Dunwoody, Sandy Springs, College Park and Smyrma. Had friends from Tampa living there and met a girl who was on the same page with me most of the time.
I also live real close to Piedmont Park back in the early 1970s and two close friends had apartments in the same house. It party time !! Atlanta is the easiest place on earth to get lost on a major hiway...every street is Peach, Ferry and the perimeter hiway has people driving on it for weeks trying to figure out where the heck they are.

Stephenson is loaded every year but the coaching is not always the greatest. You at least know he’s a great athlete though.

I am starting to think Mullen has a Bowman or bust strategy for RB recruiting this cycle.

I understand the risk to some degree. Next year Perine is gone, Davis is likely going to stay unless he has an incredible year and Pierce will also stay. I've seen Clement getting reps, too, so if we can't get a 5* then maybe we should focus those counters on something else.

Davis and Pierce are a hell of a 1 - 2 with Clement being a solid back after them. I'm just not sure we need another person who is likely going to transfer since even after Clement we will have Nay'quan for emergencies.

Even if Davis has an outstanding year and is looking like he will leave early, that could open it up to take a blue chip who is looking to play early.

I concur, folks get caught up in recruiting numbers for positions. We have capable players for 2020 on the roster.

The DL will be fine next year, but we need some depth to coach up and be ready for 2021. We are upperclassmen heavy and its good news bad news. If we have the kind of season I am expecting, we will land more elite recruits going forward.

WR, DB and RB are the three positions where true frosh can make impacts. Look at Dean last year as a true frosh or even CJ and Marco as true frosh.

Guys and Gals...the site I go to is saying we will have a very pleasant surprise being announced tomorrow...the site owner has sat on the info out of respect...which is hard to find these days.

Not 100% sure if its a recruit or transfer....but unless its leaked today...the news is coming tomorrow, so buckle up and enjoy the ride.

If I had to guess it would be the CB from LSU. But it would be a guess.

AR15 is an absolute freak, and I can't wait until we have 3 QBs just like him in the upcoming years. We're going to have people hating the Gators in no time, more than even now.

Same. Kelvin Joseph or the ND safety both probably end up here.

I could also see the NCAA granting Cox immediate eligibility because their basis for it never makes sense. It’s absolutely bonkers.

Oh of course. I think he should go for the racist angle Fields did.

Even if they do he would have to hire the same lawyer and I feel like it took several months to get cleared.

Nah, he should sit a year. This is all fun and games until it's one of our guys transferring and immediately playing somewhere because of bullshite slander -- oh wait, it happened.

Got any actual proof? Or are you basing this off of the Fields situation?

I mean I was. I don't think Cox has any more a reason to complain about Georgia than Chris Steele had when he left us. Unrestricted transfers hurts the sport in a lot of ways because it means these kids can be flip-flopping bitches the entire time and it will make it very hard to keep players.

Did they already rule Steele eligible? It was definitely a bullshite reason despite what I was saying on the rant

https://www.si.com/college-football/2019/08/06/chris-steele-eligibility-waiver-approved-usc

None of us really want to see kids transfer so easily, and I'm going to be intellectually honest: Unless Cox can demonstrate that he was mistreated, abused or completely lied to (about something promised in his scholarship, NOT playing time) he shouldn't be playing immediately.

Chris Steele had no problem with his roommate until it was public then Mommy and Daddy Steele found out their kid had girls in his bedroom.
