I think we have the arms to win it all. The offense can be stymied by good pitching but we are stingy as hell and even when AJ or Alex falter some....the strike outs balance out the walks a lot and as long as we arent giving up much we are in every game.
Logan pitches like he just did....we start out 1-0.

Good news:No #1 seed has won the CWS since 1999.
Bad news: Only 3 times has a #1 seed gone 0-2 to start a CWS and we have done it twice.Our overall CWS record now is 10-50. We are also 1 of 4 teams to have 10 CWS appearances and not win.
With that being said I am still disappointed with how it ended. Our bats die at the worst possible moments. Next year we wont have the pitching we had this year and our bats will have a drop off as well. We will see what happens.

Need three more Alonsos and we would be fine. Our hitting was so below average.
