Beamer is set to make a base salary of $270,000 and an additional $165,000 in compensation from "private funds for personal services." His contract is for a two year term, expiring on Jan. 31, 2020.

I support it but with conditions...

I mean Beamer will at least try and he's a local. But the issue is he has frick ALL 0 EXPERIENCE! And no one else wants him, did I mention that?

He gets $1 million, years 1-3. Thats double what he's getting now and NO ONE is offering him more. He's not Lincoln Riley and he's not Brent Venables, he's hopefully a Dabo, nothing more. Therefore the money he's NOT getting will be allocated to hire the best OC and the best DC available. This means we can literally offer Venables ...

$2.5 frickING MILLION frickING DOLLARS more than he currently makes. Or someone else, you get my point.

Up next Jamie Chadwell or some other well qualified high level offensive coordinator. You don't think he'd move 1.5 hours up the road to make double or triple his current salary and have less work to do? You're higher than a birds arse if you think otherwise.

This isn't fricking rocket science you fricking idiot on the BOT

The lowest paid of the FBS coaches USA Today obtained records for is Coastal Carolina's Jamey Chadwell, at $375,000. He took a pay cut of $56,034.

They're literally forcing him to get out of his own way and "hire" for his job.

Everything else I’ve seen says Beamer is $2.5 million a year for 5 years with a huge assistant pool

I should have been clearer, that opening salary figure I copy and pasted was his pay at Oklahoma. $2.5 per year puts him at half of the average SEC coach.

Apparently his assistant pool is MASSIVE. Some dude on Twitter is saying he’s going to throw 2.1 million at joe brady to lure him back to college fb

I truly hope so, this whole situation has never been rocket science. It just takes someone willing to give up a short term windfall for a long term fortune.
