Agreed, but QB is his baby. I know GA Mangus gets all the credit but Spurrier has his touch on every QB.

If a RFr were to start that would not speak well for two things ...

1 - The recruitment and development of Dylan Thompson, especially given how much experience he has garnered over the past two seasons.

2 - The recruitment and development of Brandon Nosovitch.

There is an old adage in college football, and pro football for that matter. "If you have to start a freshman at QB (or as a rookie) then you are in trouble."

True, but the past two Heisman trophy winners kind of puts a hole in that old chestnut, no?
