What will UGA do differently this game?

In UGA's last game they did enough on offense to put them in a position to possibly win that game.
Murray 20/29, 323 yards, 1 INT (w/o Mitchell for most the game.)
Guley 12 carries, 154 yards, 2 TD
Marshall 16 carries, 43 yards 1 TD
Hicks 3 carries, 38 yards, 1 TD
9 receivers with at least 1 catch, but nobody showed out.
Their defense allowed way too many yards and points and they lost.
clemson RB had 130 yards, Boyd had 40 yards and 2 TD's and Boyd passed for 270 yards and 3 TD's.
Somethings we now know that are different are:
JHC is back at safety, but may not start. Rumph is back at WR (he's 6'5"), the defense isn't afraid to flop when they're tired, they've got 2 true freshman as DB's, and they moved their best DE to NT for this game.
What else will Richt, Bobo and Grantham do to prepare for the USC game?
I think:
There will be a heavy focus on rushing the football both ways (lots of Gurley and they'll focus defensively on defending the rush.)
They'll focus on keeping Shaw in the pocket and trying to blitz or collapse it. I think this was the biggest reason they moved G Smith to NT, they are essentially going to try to rush Shaw all night with 4 of their best pass rushers (then 1 LB will just be spying on him.)

Hopefully communicate better on the offensive line, not insist on running Marshall between the tackles, not botch a special teams play, tackle reasonably well.

They are essentially borrowing upon our rabbit package by moving their DE to NT. Whether it works for them, or not, is yet to be seen.
They know we are going to be keying on Gurley all night so we'll see a ton of early play-action stuff, moreso than Clemson saw, with them hoping that it eventually causes our DEs and LBs to freeze long enough to give Gurley time to find a hole and run through it. (I'm not discounting Marshall because he too is a helluva back and we'll see a ton of him on 3rd down regardless of whether they are in a short or long situation.)
They are going to use their TEs across the middle far more than they did against Clemson. Why they didn't do it more against Clemson is a mystery to me.
I fully expect Richt and Bobo to try to get cute during the game - Spurrier style - something that might get the crowd into it like a fake punt or a double-reverse hoping to catch Clowney over-pursuing while penetrating deep in the backfield, or a flea-flicker or something along those lines. An unexpected onside kick, a halfback pass. Something.
We'll see a lot of quick hitters in the flats as well.
I'll be absolutely shocked if they let UGA's LBs set too deep after the snap. Instead, they'll have them taking their first step in-on-the-snap before they're allowed to drop and roll with Shaw. They'll be spying Shaw rather than Davis.
One thing I would like to see Shaw do very well this weekend is execute on the play-action stuff and pull-off some really nice fake handoffs. That's provided Davis and Wilds are realizing some measure of success up the middle and off-tackle. If Georgia does bunch it up between the tackles we may have to run Carson out there and try our luck with some pitch sweeps and option reads to loosen them up a bit and force their safeties to come help on the corners.
Georgia only has so much time to prepare for all the things we can do. If we put them in a position to have to make a bunch of halftime adjustments then we'll have them because Spurrier will expect that and just switch to something else in the 2nd half - but this will be an interesting chess match to watch between the two staffs. Having to prepare for Shaw is one thing because he's so two dimensional, but having to prepare for Shaw AND Thompson is a whole different animal and Spurrier knows that going-in ... but so does Richt.
It would not surprise me in the least to see us light them up through the air this weekend. With the WRs in our arsenal and all of our TEs healthy there is no reason for us not to test them early and often through the air and I am not sure they have the depth to run with us all night. They know we're going to use our wide outs and TEs to bait their secondary and LBs off the line so how much they are willing to gamble on us doing that is going to be very very interesting to watch.
UGA fans will never admit this but I honestly believe, IMHO, that we have better depth than they have, across the board at pretty much every position. More importantly, I fully expect to see us try to use it against them - so I expect to see some wholesale substitutions happening early. Georgia knows that is coming and they are going to do their best to use Murray's experience to try to take advantage of that by either getting plays off during the transition or by rushing us to make the platooning work and in doing so cause us to suffer through some illegal substitution penalties or flags for too many players on the field.

1 - They are essentially borrowing upon our rabbit package ... check.
2 - we'll see a ton of early play-action stuff ... check.
3 - They are going to use their TEs across the middle far more than they did against Clemson ... check, plus they used them on the post as well. argh
4 - I fully expect Richt and Bobo to try to get cute during the game - Spurrier style - something that might get the crowd into it like ... An unexpected onside kick ... check. But what hacks me is that everyone in the stadium saw it coming. I was screaming "ONSIDE KICK ONSIDE KICK!" but the coaches just wouldn't listen. (or maybe they couldn't hear me, I dunno.)
5 - We'll see a lot of quick hitters in the flats as well ... check. Drove me crazy, they killed us with it.
6 - I'll be absolutely shocked if they let UGA's LBs set too deep after the snap ... their LBs still bit on Shaw and he still burned them a couple of times.
7 - One thing I would like to see Shaw do very well this weekend ... try our luck with some pitch sweeps and option reads ... check, but they didn't have to bring in Carson, they simply used Davis and he did well. We used it one too many times though, on the goal line.
8 - Georgia ... If we put them in a position to have to make a bunch of halftime adjustments then we'll have them ... I was wrong. Richt and Bobo and their DC actually made better adjustments at the half than did Spurrier and Ward.
9 - It would not surprise me in the least to see us light them up through the air this weekend ... we tried. Didn't do badly with the TEs and Jones and Roland, etc., but we missed some great opportunities to really light them up through the air. Ellington losing the ball in the sun was a key play.
10 - UGA fans will never admit this but I honestly believe, IMHO, that we have better depth than they have, across the board at pretty much every position. ... I was wrong. We were not better across the board. It was pretty even everywhere. Yeah, Gurley was a beast but Davis out-gained him. Marshall gave them the advantage at RB no doubt. And Murray was excellent but Shaw wasn't bad at all. It came down to the biggest mistakes and we made them. Plus, our DLine was outclassed by their offense. Gotta give Bobo credit, he called a helluva game. He kept them off balance. But overall, personnel was fairly even. We were not better nor were we deeper.

You were pretty spot on with these.

Yep, but that spy got burnt. Shaw had the 2nd highest avg per carry in the game, Davis was 1st.

Actually, Lynch only had 3 receptions for 26 yards, and the other TE, Jay Rome, was out with a sprained ankle.
You were pretty much spot on about everything else.
