What's funny is how poorly the tater paw was painted on the field. It was really one of the worst I've seen. The painting of the cockaboose is straight vandalism, that's someone's personal property and you can just grow/cut it out like grass. TaterTom was in Columbia on Monday.

I think this is going to be the fuel our guys need for the offseason, and you beter believe these pictures are going to be up in the locker room around November.

Whatever idiot tater fan did this didn't do their team any favors.

I'm still scratching my head wondering how they got inside the stadium.

And we have video cameras up along the Cockabooses so we'll have video of them doing it.

I'm pretty sure the northwest corner of the stadium makes the field pretty accessible

I asked about that while I was down there today and the answer was "no." The northwest corner of the stadium is not accessible except to construction workers doing waterproofing there right now and only during the day and only with guards in place. Even coaches are now required to go through the back of their building to access the walk-through from north to south underneath the west side stands.

They believe the culprit came in underneath the east side stands by coming over the fence there. They are going to work on that. They have a partial on video, but not enough to decipher who the culprits were. All of that is about to change.
