I also agree with this. Just gotta have some teams to root for while im waiting for football season to come back. It would make it easier if we were good in baseball.

NBA playoffs have been kinda shitty in recent years though. I dont wanna see the warriors win again but thats exactly what we are going to see.

frick soccer though.

I mean have they though? Sure the Warriors have won but the WCF went 7 games.
The east should be wide open this year too.

And what do you mean you want a team to root for , you just said you had teams, the islanders and Braves (understandable If you hate regular season MLB)

And I’ll raise your frick soccer with frick college baseball.
See two can play that game

Yea sure NBA playoffs have been fun if you can agree that the finals is actually the WCF. Its just shitty that theres less and less parity. Ill still watch tho.

And yea i was just agreeing that I picked teams in those sports a long time ago so this stretch of sports is more entertaining. Clips, Islanders, and Braves.

And you dont have to like college baseball and I dont have to like soccer. thats fine.

I dont like college baseball when its not gamecocks though. So maybe its not even really the sport its just I like watching us be relevant in things. I just wanna fast forward to August

Not sure I’d agree with that to be honest
Cavs would have had a better chance against Houston than GSW
But to be fair I think the NBA rigged that series to make it 7
I have a slight feeling GSW is done, everyone seems to be bored and hate eachother would not be shocked if they don’t win it this year.

I agree that soccer is an acquired taste, which I'm still working on, but here's what changed my mind. I knew American soccer was bad, but if your exposure is MLS and the occasional world cup when we're in it (like mine was before), that's not a real game. Like, I don't even think MLS is the D-league of soccer. It's more like the wooden bat college leagues.

Here's my progression, for what it's worth. My oldest was on a Liverpool sponsored team years ago. 5 or 6. He's a fan of Liverpool, by default so am I. Then I realized that EPL is actually really entertaining and there are constantly games! Couple that with on our cable we get Bundesliga all the time and La Liga for big games. The quality is amazing. Sprinting at full arse speed and keeping a ball 3 feet from you is hard enough, but to watch their ability is nuts.

The buildup from the back can be boring at times, and sitting on a 1-0 game with defense is the same as watching Muschamp call run after run after run to punt, but there are usually as many big and exciting plays as in most sports.

And I kind of have the same feeling for Golden State. Something is off and it seems like the era maybe in the death rattles. The West may have some powerhouses, but the East will have some solid series I think.

Soccer st 10am is always a plus too.
Game is over by 1145 and you have the rest of the day

I’ll take that over anything else

I need some help everyone. Maybe a little motivation.

Right now the Arkansas baseball team looks like they could be headed back to Omaha and we might be getting a new basketball coach. We are, for once, mildly optimistic.

Which is why you should read our threads and wait for the inevitable doom that befalls Arkansas sports other then track to befall us so you can revel in our misery.

Y'all should follow Spurs like me. They've got a rooster as a mascot, haven't won much in the way of titles and constantly disappoint the fans when they have a chance to take the next step. It's a seamless transition from being a Carolina fan.
