This is what I think South Carolina needs to do for the rest of their games.

LONG POST. Most of this stuff probably won't happen. It's just me rambling about what I always rant about during the games.

At this point I really think since we don't have much else to lose season-wise, this is when the Gamecocks need to get as experimental as possible and figure out what works with certain players. On both sides of the ball. We need some answers and we need to get some of these players more field time.

- Play Orth and Mitch at QB, and also switch Nunez and Cooper around at QB, RB, WR when needed. We do have some great looking offensive players, we just need to use them as effectively as possible and make sure to get the ball in their hands. Out of all the QBs we have (and another we'll get next year), there's gotta be somebody cut out for the job.

- We need to switch between Carson, Wilds, and Williams during games and change the patterns up. Each one of them can break out with some great runs if given the right opportunities. They need to get them all around the field more often and quit abandoning the run game when it's actually working.

- Playcalling needs to get better if we want to capitalize on what we have here. That's just a given.

- I think Fenton needs to get a chance and join the offense as a wide receiver. The guy's really quick if you can get the ball to him right and get the key blocks needed. These players need to stop being afraid of getting a little physical if they want to win. I think Fenton could prove to be a big threat at WR. With Pharoh, DJ Neal, and Adams, I think Fenton could fit in well as a reliable WR and another option.

- Defensively, we have some important standouts like Skai Moore, TJ Holloman, Sherrod Pittman, and Marquavius Lewis, but I think as far as recruiting goes, defensive recruiting was much more weak. These players need to motivate everybody else by example and make key plays in the game like we have seen them do this season. The coaching with this young defense needs to improve, which shouldn't be an issue with two co-defensive coordinators...but somehow it still is.
