1-11 on 3rd down conversions is awful, but that was the only bad stat we had, and is totally eclipsed by USC winning by 3 scores.

Hampton 8 tackles, 1 FF, 1 FR, 1 Tip for INT and 3 PBU's. Awesome Day.

Golightly had his best game all year. 4 Tackles, 2 TFL's, 1 FR.

5 Turnovers gained by USC, 0 given, that was the difference in the game.

MD28 15 carries for 128 yards.

Boring fricking game.

MSU beat us stats-wise, did they not?

Personally, I'm noticing Spurrier is hot and cold with the play calling lately. And he has recently complained of feeling drained and exhausted. It's beginning to worry me just a bit.

A lot of them "beating" us stat wise is going to have to do with our offense getting the short field off of 5 turnovers. It's the same reason Florida's stats from our game last year are so skewed. The third down efficiency, while a little concerning, could also be blamed on a less-than-mobile Shaw.

This bye week is going to do wonders for the team, IMO.
