I'll believe it when he steps on campus...kid is headed to tater town...They fired his high school coach after starting 0-5 and hire former Clemson player van Smith's dad as the coach.

You know that sometimes players hate their coaches right? Especially new coaches that they don't have to play for for very long.

We have a better shot to flip XT to us right now than we do if landing Crouch...if he does come here I'll be the first to eat all the crow...kids like him are weak minded and are influenced too much by others....just read his comments on us

Totally agree but a portion of our fan base will have a meltdown about us "missing" on one. Coaches dropped the ball. etc. This kid was never serious about us. He is not even in the "long shot" category as far as I'm concerned.

If noone will say it i will we are in a war now. Ryan always wanted a Stanford offer and said if they offered before us hed be a Sanford committ.

I remember reading that it would give him something to think about. That was a while back before he took his trip to scatter his brothers' ashes.

Jesus I feel bad for Hilinski. Our fans went so insane a while back over insecurity issues about him backing out that he broke his own self-imposed Twitter break during his fb season to address it.

I'm not melting over it just stating a fact...he said early in the process if stanford offered hed have committed to them....this is a legit possibility, Wiltfong and the west coast scout for 247 have both said the same. I do think he stays with us but it'll be a bit closer than most think.

Anything is a possibility and your concern does have its merits but there is his brother already accepted to medical school and the plans the family has already made to also take into account. Then there is the Hawaii trip and his thoughts from it.

This has not been a stellar week for our "best fanbase in the world" claim. Some of these I'm sure are trolls and some are, or claim to be, Gamecock fans. Between hoping Jake gets hurt or screws up and calling Dawn Staley a stupid bitch, I am done.
