I've heard he was going to be here saturday. I think he has great talent but I honestly would not be disappointed if we miss out on him. I will keep my reasons to myself.

That's not what he has said in interviews. Go to the recruiting thread about him and he clearly name the 5 offical visits he was taking.

Much like KJ Henry,"I'll believe it when I see it" about Crouch coming to SC. There is something very odd about his recruitment. He says that he needs to see more improvement from South Carolina yet he seems to be infatuated with Tennessee, a dumpster fire. I'm not high on kids that want to come into a place that's loaded and take the easy route. Sounds too much like Tom Herman.

Oh Im not saying he is coming, just stated he will be at the game and Hilinski will be in his ear. Also I'm not sold on him based on some comments he made bot too long ago.

Agree with you about the comments. Red flags. Think one of his problems is he has too many people in his ear. Where ever he ends up, he is in for a dose of reality. Unless he wants to be a punter, he is going to get banged up.

Not a 2019 guy, but keep your eye on 2021 CB/RB/ATH DeAndre Boykin LINK
He's our OLB Derek's younger brother. I've seen him play, kid is a stud athlete. He lit up Hickory Ridge (who was the PreSeason favorite to win the conference this year.) We offered him this week. Boykin's family has routes in SC, and there is plenty of Gamecock support up in Cabarrus County. Plus with his Bro already coming to SC, we'll have a good shot.
Derek has a really good reputation up there. Besides being a stud LB: Hard worker, good grades, stays out of trouble, good family, so I expect DeAndre to follow suit.

Saw we offered him yesterday, haven't watched film as I'm still watching guys for 19 and 20, but from what I've heard he is a solid player

Almost ... started to get into it a little on the main board by accident one day and then stopped. Brought back bad memories.
I have got to get it down and post it for posterities' sake one day though ... before my mind gives-out.

Crouch is going to nc state today and I guess the article about Hilinski being at Washington State was correct.
