Has anyone taken a recent look at page one of this thread and the first post that started it by CiyE? I miss CiyE btw. Wish he woukd come back.

Well it didn't help any that Clemson won a natty and is on the way to a 3rd straight playoff and possible natty shot, then UGA wins the SEC and are in the playoffs as well. All things considered this class is turning out as well as could be expected.

Oh, no doubt. We just must trust in mUSChamp to find diamonds in the rough and turn them into studs.
We have to remember that UGA and the taterheads can only sign 25 a year. We've gotta get our fair share.

Sounds like Mac’s a lil bitter about how things are going to play out. The longer Henry waits to commit the better our chances are of landing this kid.
I didn’t really call Bentley moving to the QB’s but thought it would happen. This would make perfect sense if we were planning on bringing in Henry’s Dad as the RB coach.

If by some miracle we pull Tindall and close with Henry, Tindall,louis, Sandidge, horn, and Gwyn we'd be looking top 10-15 class..we have to drop Gibbs and Johnson to stay at 25 if we add Jarrett and baremore and drop or greyshirt Valentine and Jamison and we are top 10 based on past classes

Haaaa...this is so spot on it's pretty funny. That dude dm'd me and said something about he was certain he would be forgiven when he "gave a little more than usual to iptay." I'm thinking iptay=NewSpring collection plate.

We might assume then, that the taterheads are outta the picture. If we do pull KJ then a lot of the things I've been hearing about XT not being quite as enthusiastic as he has been woukd make sense.

Speaking of Mike ... Mike Matulis is fighting tonight at Jamile Temple. Several former ballplayers have called and texted to see if I was going to be there - I'm not. Obligated to attend a Christmas party tonight. But there are going to be a ton of Gamecock celebs there for anyone interested. A bunch, I mean a bunch, of former players and a couple of coaches to rub elbows with.
I hope Matulis kicks arse. Always liked that kid.
