SC @ UK in April

6th || Friday night game / Opening Day @ Keeneland / G3 Transylvania
7th || Saturday night game / Good card at the track
8th || Sunday early afternoon game / G3 Beaumont

Also though of a place for you guys to stay that is a step up from a B & B (as they have a cook for lunch and dinners) and the folks who own it also have a place in Charleston. Known them for a good 30 - 40 years and I think you would like the set up.

You guys fishing the UP this week or fishing down on the mitt?

Love me some Michigan whitefish!

Now hold on... its unfair to post potential dates to meet SCrooster for those of us some states away.

This is more about events than people. Just works out that baseball and ponies are running at the same time.

Are you a fan of Oaklawn? Do you have family in Stuggart?

If I did the mosquitoes ate them. Its a nice enough town but Stuttgart is the capitol of the Arkansas rice growing area because its basically a half drained swamp.

Which, oddly enough, makes it a sportman's paradise. People fly in from all over the country to go duck hunting there.

Yeah, but some of the natives I grew up with in that area like the ponies too.

They have visited me when I am in LEX and the Hogs are playing the same week Keeneland is open.

Back in the days I thought some of them were the inspiration for this song. LINK :)

Family has been going to Oaklawn since they opened their doors.

I'm sitting on a lake ice fishing this very moment freezing my arse off not catching a thing and about to try to pull the game up on my phone.

14° with a wind chill of -3° the wind is trying to flip our hootch.

I'll be working at The Masters all that week.

Just got back to the hotel room after the game in Greenville, stuffed to the brim and half-way drunk, but I'm pretty sure that is Masters Week.

Would love to be in Lexington though ... just not as much as I love working The Masters. And I think I'm being moved to a tee box this year or so I hear.

We do all need to have a get-together though.

I've got yearly Fish Camp coming-up 21-29 March then barely will be back home before I have to get ready for Masters company at the house ... same routine every year but it's always a lot of fun.

If you come a different week for Keeneland you miss the SC baseball series.

:(

Do the Cocks play Vandy in Nashville this year?

I'm not sure Cheese. I know that my Michigan friend was talking about us all meeting somewhere around Nashville this year and doing the bourbon tour, hitting the distilleries we missed the last time, and letting the wives shop and see some shows.

Just checked. We play at Vandy the 26-29 of April. That'll be here before we know it. I need to make some calls and find out what the plans are with the wives. We've been running around a lot lately.
