8/13 for 89yd and a TD in his career. How nervous are you guys?

Honestly, from the spring games since he showed up, he looked like the smartest and best decision maker we had in the QB stable, in every single one. I honestly think he might earn his chance to finish his senior year. If jake is hurt, let him sit, rest, redshirt, learn more from Werner, and come back next year.

What you guys think?

Very nervous. We better get the run game going.

My expectations or attitude has changed since after Georgia.
I’m just playing with house money at this point

Hate to you, but Mizzou has a top 30 run defense.

We have shown a tendency to go away from the run to early if it doesn't work. Teams now know that if they stop us running in 1st quarter that we go pass happy .

This kid is a spurrier qb. He’s going to be mentally tough

I want him to do great but I honestly will be pissed at the coaching staff if he does.

Quick simple throws are the key. Purdue’s backup QB threw for like 600 on these guys. We aren’t gonna be able to run, but you can beat them through the air.
