It would be remarkable if we finished that strongly. Solid Top 15 class for sure if we got all of them.

Green- USC
Lammons- USC
Wideman- FSU
Ford- don't care
Scott- USC
Prince -UMD

I would stoked to if Prince pulled the shocker and picked SC, but I think this hometown pull for him is really strong

I don't get the whole 'Wideman is gonna flip' thing. If he was going to do that, wouldn't he have done that by now? All he's doing is screwing FSU if he wants to come here and from the limited interviews I've seen from him, I don't think he's the kind of person to say, 'frick 'em I never wanted to go there and was just making them hold a spot for me.'

With regard to Wideman FWIW, his friends and family around here say he is definitely going to FSU.

Only his former coach, now here at Edgefield, is saying there is a chance he goes to SCAR but I'm not buying it. I ate lunch with the coach that now works for Wideman's coach, (who is now the AD at Strom Thurmond), yesterday and he laughed and indicated Wideman is solid for FSU.

We'll see I guess. I'd like to see him sign with us at the same time I've heard too many stories that remind me of Albert Haynesworth's high school days ... so I dunno. If we're taking Ford I just have a feeling that our coaches already know Wideman is a done deal for FSU and that there is another commit that is not going to qualify along the DLine.

Yeah, Corey Miller awhile back said he knew directly and from his son that Wideman was solid to FSU.

Lammons - USC
Green - USC
Ford - USC
Caldwell - USC
Wideman - FSU
Scott - UTk
Prince - MD

This seems to be the most accurate to me.

I think that's much closer to reality, even if we get those four ... which is not a done deal by a long shot and I'm just hoping we get three of those that I know of ...

But, and this is a big, huge even, but ... but if we pull five or six of those seven we will have had the strongest close in SCAR recruiting history, bar none, and I would know. If we close with any combination of six out of those seven then we have legitimately arrived as a program that reloads rather than recruits. We'll be on par with any program in America, regardless of how many programs may finish ranked ahead of us in any of the service rankings.

Cut him loose. We spent too much time changing the culture of the program to bring in too many guys w/ this type of attitude.

I think Ford is a severely underrated talent who could absolutely play in the SEC despite his height but to hell w/ this soap opera. Let him walk and put the full court press on Arthur Williams.

I think TBS reported that Arthur Williams would be a non-qualifier too though and may have to go to JUCO.

I hope a few for us at least. If none of Thomas, Sawyer or Caldwell qualify, we are 1 injury away from being fricked.

That's wtf I thought would happen. He was playing us ... it wasn't just his HS coach.

I seriously doubt our coaches are very surprised.

Still keeping my fingers crossed for Green and Lammons.
Wideman would be a huge get, a major flip. But I just don't know.
We're done with Ford. He'll either end-up at Louisville or Miami. (Wait, Poona will end-up at Texas, while the Ford WR in Florida is the one I was referring to.)
Scott announces today at 3.15 right? IMHO he probably ends-up at UT because he believes he'll get a ton of early playing time - and he probably will.
We're done with Prince. I know Spurrier goes in this week but it's over, he's either going to sign with Maryland or Florida.

Yes, he announces today. Before the in-home visits I really thought Spurrier was going to be able to cut through the bullshite Tenn's staff was throwing at him, but now I'm guessing they weren't able to do that.
