I sure wish they would quarantine half of Columbia so traffic coming to work isn't so bad. Funny thing is all of my products are made in Wuhan, China and we got multiple containers just last month.

ductless mini split heat pumps. I got out of managing residential HVAC company's and switched to this. Cut the stress out by 90%.

Small world, the majority of my income is solving import issues from Shenzhen. You guys ever have quality control issues or want to negotiate better pricing. My partner from CLT is boots on the ground ready to translate in Mandarin or Cantonese in real time and sort it out.

So since we have no sports to talk of, how about we discuss finance? Between what you know. What I know about whats really going on in China and how its going to effect any company that relies on them for manu. We should be able to do some forecasting.

I don’t know much about that, don’t really deal with Chinese labor or outsourced labor to China (that I know of)
We do have Chinese Clients/offices etc. but they’re in Hong Kong and operating at the same level we are

I will keep that info in case I need it. As far as quality I have to say I'm extremely impressed with our units. Just FYI my product comes off the exact same assembly line as Trane and Carrier's Mini split heat pumps but I sale them at half the cost.

IBG I've been involved with electronics repair, accessories and parts supply solutions since 99. All of which coming from China obviously. Fun fact, the largest iPad repair facility in the world used to be in Horry County. You walk through a mall and see a phone accessory kiosk. You order a repair part off of eBay. You walk into a repair shop. You watch a repair video on youtube. Some how, I'm involved in it.
Which is why I wanted to form a think tank of sorts and figure out to where to invest in all of this. If you'd like me to elaborate on what I know that the gen pub does not. I'm happy too. Hell, we've got nothing else to do. I know you work in finance just not sure of exactly how.

Its the manufacturing hub of the world. It ramped up with the toys in the 80's. Built an unparalleled cheap, fast and skilled work force. And grew with the electronics of the 90's. Then it exploded in the 2000's.
Its currently operating at maybe 30% of its effective output. They're having to aggressively recruit employee's like Newspring recruits Clemson players and re train them. It'll be 4/5 weeks before we see 75% + productivity. Companies like Sony, Apple, Microsoft have inventory reserves warehoused but they've been tapping into that for 3+ weeks. The question is how will this information effect the stock market.

You don't know anything about 401k's do you? I'm trying to help the girlfriend out but I've been self employed since my early 20's. And this shite is like reading Japanese.
