As in burnt down today. It was the large building that cooked all the food and then delivered to all of the stores. Nothing left of the building.

All of the Maurice's restaurants are going to be without food because it was made at the burned out site.

We used to eat there in the 60s a couple of times a week when we lived in Edenwood ... neighbors of Joe Pinner's. Great neighborhood back in the 50s and 60s. He always had the best Halloween decorations. Heard he passed last month ... or in September.

ETA: Maurice was my very first advertiser on my original radio show with Larry Phipps. Larry and I were just talking about him the other day. We used to stop by that location after leaving the studio all the time, until he built the one over on Two Knotch.

Must be before Joe moved to Blythewood. There was another tv weatherman that lived in Edenwood. His child swam for Edenwood when I swam for The Pines Pool in Kingswood near the Original Rush Hamburgers.

I think Joe moved to Blythewood in '73. We were already out on the lake by then, we moved out of Edenwood in '69, but I kept in touch with Joe and the boys ... they're both younger than me.

Did you go to Joe's funeral here recently? I worked with his wife at IMC Hotels and she was the nicest person you would meet.

Sorry didn't read your earlier reply about his death and yes it was in September right before my mom passed.
