All the haters need to watch this. The NFL was impressed with Clowney's combine, they said so.

Hampon threw up 20 reps on the bench, good for 3rd overall for ALL DB's!

Hampton Combine Interview

Very confident, I think he showed a solid mental focus and I like how he took up for Shaw.

Fromt another board: Deion Sanders asked Mayock about Victor Hampton during the DB drill and said he looked like a "banger" in a good way. Next drill Deion was talking up Clowney when he stopped mid conversation to watch Hampton again. He said he liked that litte guy and he was gonna be a "dog" in the league. Finally, last day and we get a little love. Also said JJ Watt would push Clowney everyday and Andrew Luck was in trouble if the Texans took him

Warren Sapp on the awesomeness of Clowney

I watched the DL segment last night when I got home... did it seem to anyone else that Sapp's displeasure with Clowney intensified when Clowney told him he was going to be out there for drills and then told the booth that he was never going to be running drills and had informed the officials of that before hand? Seemed a little petty to me.

I don't know about the timing of it. Sapp was all about Clowney at some parts and then didn't like him. I don't care, Sapp isn't drafting nobody.

Out of the 40 CB's, Vic was a Top Performer listed for:

Bench Press
3 Cone
20 Yard Shuttle
60 Yard Shuttle

His 40 time wasn't his best, I don't know what happened. However, he put on a strong combine at the end and impressed in the other drills.

Complete Combine Grades

https://bleacherreport.com/articles/1973221-south-carolina-football-complete-nfl-combine-grades-for-former-stars/page/2

Clowney - A Probably kept himself as #1 or #2

Ellington - B+ Overall helped himself, projecting 4th Rd now

Hampton - C+ 40 hurt him. If you look at him as a Safety, he's trending up.

Qualres - C+ He'll be a 2nd/3rd Rd selection. Combine didn't hurt him, but it didn't help him much.

Shaw - B Stock is moving up into should be drafted territory. I'm thinking 6th or 7th.

Quarles is getting a lot of hype on several Pro Teams fan forum boards. Several fans of different teams are hoping they grab him in the 2nd b/c they aren't sure if he'll be available in the 3rd. If you separate out the DE's and the DT's in the Combine Results (manually b/c those jackasses don't have a filter for it) Quarles was a Top 5 DT in almost all the Combine measurements. Also, the 9.5 Sacks is resonating on those boards and they were impressed it happened from a SEC DT.

They are just fan forums but if you google "kelcy quarles combine draft" you'll see what I'm talking about.

ETA: I kept looking for more pages/fan forums. I'm not talking about a couple teams fans wanting Quarles in the 2nd Rd, I'm at around 7 right now and still counting.

Hampton is also getting a lot of respect with how he took up for Shaw on that interview from Pro team fans.

Whats this about?

And I hope that Dallas takes Quarles if they have the opportunity in the second round instead of another fricking TE.

Go back and watch VIc's Combine Interview in this thread for exact wording, but the short on it is a reporter asked Vic about Shaw not getting a lot of attention and Vic looked at the reporter and said, "Why?!" Then Vic went on to describe Shaw and his play/work ethic, and said Shaw is ultimately a winner and isn't that what team's want.

How scout's viewed this was that here's a guy that will take up for his teammates, and use reasoning to defend their argument.
