I've never seen such stupidity when it comes to play calling and usage of players...

Where was pharaoh cooper or wilds in 4th quarter

Our defense for the past two years has been last in the SEC. How hard is it to defend a slant?!

The offense had 430 yards. I want to keep Elliot and Mangus.

Everyone on defense has to go though

If those two really think Orth is the best chance for us to win, then they need to go as well. Our yardage today had a whole lot more to do with A&M being pretty poor on defense than our play.

I agree, maybe Botkin can stay, but all DC's, DL and DB Coaches got to go, and adios to Bubba and JoeRob.

Elliott and Mangus can stay.

I want Jon Hoke, Lorenzo Ward, Bubba, and every other friend out Spurrier who can't coach for shite publicly flogged on their way out of town. The University of South Carolina does not exist to employ the friends and relatives of Steve Spurrier.

This was a winnable game against an opponent who can't get out of their own way. And the braintrust on D saw fit to let Aggy score on damn near every possession.

Still, credit Elliott. The team played hard, and were it not for a key pick-six, they were in position to compete. If SOS were still HBC, this would have been a blowout.

Before this game, I was kinda okay with keeping Mangus.

But he called all the plays against Vandy and again today against aTm.

Most inept coaching I have ever seen...save the Brad Scott nightmare.

Leave Mangus, Hoke, Ward and Bubba off the bus like SoCal did Kiffin.

This shite is truly disgusting and absolutely unacceptable.

Their other options are a true freshman that can't throw the ball and a 3rd year frick up that was selling weed over the summer and clearly doesn't care that much about football.

And both are dealing with injuries too.

I hate that we're starting a walk-on but that's not Elliot and Mangus's fault. Spurrier pick and chose the QBs on the roster and he chose poorly

I suspect the next coach will have full autonomy where His staff is concerned ... and unless he is desperate none of this staff will be here next year - IF he can fill their roles with better coaches of his own choosing.

Why the hell don't we give Scarnecchia a shot?

Wasn't he a scholly qb out of high school? I can't remember whether he was or not. Every time he speaks to the press, though, he's very upbeat and says that he's giving it all bc he wants playing time. What do we have to lose at this point? Scarnecchia didn't look bad at all in the Spring game.

His only other offer was from UAB. Which no longer has a football program.

And he's only a redshirt freshman

If Fuente ends-up here I think we might see a bunch more Scarnecchia.

Just because Scarnecchia was a 2* doesn't mean he's got what Fuente looks for

I like this idea...too bad we can't actually do it.

We'd be a fricking dynasty.

Alabama's shithole might just pucker at the thought.

Ah wait...REC would never let this shite happen. Who are we kidding?

I agree. Orth has to be replaced if Elliott wants to have a chance at winning some of these last games. A&M defense sucks. I will say the play calling was creative. It was refreshing to see something different.

So there is an article online saying that Skai Moore and some of the other veteran defensive players actually went to Hoke and told him what he was calling was not working and then told him they were going to play what they knew how to play. I know players and coaches usually have feedback about the plays and how they're working...but damn. To have to basically say to your D coordinator that his shite ain't working and our shite will is just a LOUD proclamation at how fast we need to put our foot in the asses of Hoke and Ward.

2* has nothing to do with it. Recruiting rankings are mute once they sign.

Scarnecchia has skills though. Seriously underrated skills. Fuente might be able to capitalize on those, who knows?

One of the standard sales tools is full disclosure of returning talent for a coach about to inherit a roster.

Whatever coach takes the job you can bet they will know what they are inheriting before they make their final decision.

If UGA fires Richt, lookout. It will instantly change things for us.

I don't think Richt will get fired. But I wouldn't be surprised to see him resign/retire.

I really hope Tanner has this thing in the bag already. The more competition in the marketplace for coaches, the more likely it is that Bisaccia or Elliott wind up with the job.
