Really no need for Pickens nor Hilinski. Both are having good springs by the way.

I was just trying to save Mike some time but if he wants to include them for you then great.

I just assumed that REAL Gamecock fans would already have watched all the videos and read up on our two high profile recruits. ( this is just chapter 2 of my " cool story").

Dude it was just a joke.

I just thought as well known as those 2 players were that it would save Mike some work by leaving them out.

I in no way meant to offend or try to butt heads with you.

RYAN HILINSKI

He is a prototypical pocket passer, kid can make all the throws. He throws the back shoulder on an out better than some pros, what he lacks in is pocket awareness....when the pocket collapeses he panicks due to his lack of speed.

Projection" Kid likely wont break records due to Jake just setting them so high, but i do beleive he will be our most favorite son as a leader and as a person, if that makes sense, this kid has it all....he can make all the throws. if the Line gives him time, and i do believe the line in front of him (will get there) will do that.

Ryan does have a great release though on his film. I do feel he relied a ton on Kyle Ford (IMO the best WR in this class). I did watch a few games of Ryans without Kyle and he looked lost for a while but got back into a rhythm. Also Ryan has to learn the art of the play action, to survive in the SEC.

All in all Ryan is a stud and will be a great QB IF the OL can block enough to sell a play action.

Ryans Fllm

ZACCH PICKENS

Kid is instinctual, strong and fast off the line...everything you want from a DE...but he projects as a DT which makes him so much more dangerous. He was revered as the best prospect in the nation by a few in our mock draft(includes Dawgs, LSU Tigers, Auburn Tigers, A Michigan fan,and a Washington fan), so we got a big time kid.

He is so damn strong i think he relies too much on strength too much, once he leans how to use his hands he will be a pass rusher that every OL coach in the nation and ever QB fears. He also reads the play so well that he knows when the OL is going to release him and the hole the RB is going to due to his time playing RB in high school that is plugging it as well.

Review: Zacch is IMO a top 10 guy in this class, im not being a homer, according to some he is a top 5 top guy, i tend to keep him as a around 8 or 9, but either way we have ourselves a really good guy, someone who can be an elite pass rusher from the interior or a run stopper off the edge...he is that versatile. Also, in a pinch in a goalline situation he can run it in...Hand it to him for a needed td, 2pt, or a short yardage situation.

Thanks for these Mike! those were great. We only really hear about players strengths, not weaknesses. Also I was wondering about how much of Ryan's in game play was Kyle Ford, and how much was him. Two gamechangers for sure though.

Kyle Ford missed most of his senior year due to injury. I think Ryan's team lost most of the OL to injury also yet he still had a very solid senior season. Ford getting hurt forced Ryan to not count on 1 player.

Im aware, but most of his film is with Kyle and thats what i used, i watched a few games of his on Fox Sports but the majority of film seen is with Kyle.
