Doty wondering what his role really might be.

If he has confidence in himself, I don't see this as an issue. I'm sure the coaches are in his ear. Erik Kimrey was at the last scrimmage. He seemed to imply the issue with Joyner, in that outing, was holding on to the ball too long and getting sacked. Apparently, he was sacked several times.

It will be used against us for sure. The same way a few are claiming a racial bias.

Hilinski is a big time QB no doubt. What he does is natural. He trusts his receivers and lets go of the ball with intuition and anticipation. You can't teach that in QBs. Taneyhill was the best we've ever had at doing that.

Joyner always wants to stare down his receivers and wait for an opening.

Wednesday mornings breakfasts are back on and it was fairly fun hearing all the observations this morning. Joyner is still going to get playing time behind center in special packages. He's going to get his chances, they just had to name a #2.

Evidently, from what I heard, they got some feedback from a few of the WRs before making their decision and Joyner understands that but it was Wener and BMac who made the final decision.

So here's what I was told. Werner has this rule that if two QBs are equal you always go with the younger player. That was the deciding factor.

Also, if things go as planned, Joyner will likely get more playing time and touches in his new role than he would have as a backup QB. He is apparently on board with that idea.

Soooooo, all the QB controversy is behind us now. Can't wait to see how they use Joyner but he's going to get some early playing time. May get to see it vs UNC from what I understand.

If Dak can still sling the rock it would be fun to see him on some trick plays

Pharoh Cooper did have 4 TD passes in his career

"Roger, Tranquility. We copy you on the ground. You got a bunch of guys about to turn blue. We're breathing again. Thanks a lot."

Heard Joyner tweeted something today about a dream being delayed is not a dream ending, or something like that.

If he doesn’t get meaningful playing time this season, that satisfies his competitive streak, he’ll transfer at the end of this season.

Wait, it’s “a blessing delayed is not a blessing denied, I’m good.” Just heard it quoted on the radio.
