Now just hear me out on this. Look at all of that talent we turned out to the NFL. We had a stable efficient QB at the helm. and we had OBC calling the plays. Yet we still won a SEcEast and didn't get close to a Championship or more. Meanwhile Missouri strolls in, takes one bad season all over the tits. And strolls into 2 back to back SEC East Championships like it was nothing. I remember thinking before and during that first season for them. That they'd bottom dwell forever with Vandy and Kentucky.

We had a great opportunity to win the division in 11-13, and we pissed it away with one signature loss that shoudln't have happened each year. This year, we had no defense, but it sucks to think that if we would've beaten the 3 teams we were up by double digits on, we'd be going to ATL. It is what it is, we gotta just keep moving forward.

I don't think there will be a terrible drop off from Thompson to Mitch. Missing Cann and Robinson will not be good, but the defense will be a lot better.

It's a nice story though. They'll throw it in our faces and shite, but look at it objectively. They come into a conference that gets hyped up as the biggest baddest around. And it is. They were told they wouldn't compete.

Now they've been to the SECCG more times than us. In three years. Different East back then, but shite. Credit where credit is due. They earned it.
