Bryan Edwards had 101 yds of receiving in the openeing game. That is a record for a Freshman at SC, confirmed by 247sports.

Damn, I would've thought Rice would've had more. Good for Edwards though.

I was looking at stats and Rice had games in 05 (RS Freshman year) where he put up 120+ yards
