Going to post relative updates from the draft on this thread.

Anyone have any bold predictions?

Who do you want your NFL team to draft?

What will Goodell's basement look like?

How many people from South Carolina will get drafted and who is taking them? I'm going 3 to 4 max starting with Kinlaw, Edwards, Dowdle and/or Wonnum.

Will we have more players drafted than Clemson since the Spurrier era?

Probably nicer than all our houses

Seems right, I’d swap Wonnum and Dowdle. But Kinlaw and Edwards are locks

No
They’ll probably get 2 in the first round and 5-7 overall

Are you saying Brown bc Kinlaw is off the board by then or do you like him better than Kinlaw?

I like Brown more, and all the scouts are saying he’s one of the for sure all pros in this draft

I think Kinlaw has more potential because he can play on the inside and outside.

The scouting reports say that for Brown as well.

What’s the wager? Who ends up better or who’s drafted higher?

Drafted higher for now... would be hard to quantify other metrics right now.

I guess we could do a profile pic or sig bet, but I'd consider higher stakes too.

Drafted higher is good because it’s sooner
Other metrics wouldn’t be as tough if we could use all pros or pro bowls
Would just take a lot longer and I don’t have the patience to wait that long

I’m fine with this.
I bet ThatGuy can make a good one

You mean popularity contests? Let's hope neither of our guys go to a small market, cellar dwelling team.

Eh, in today’s age of sports especially in the NFL that isn’t an issue, if you’re good you’ll get your recognition especially with PFF becoming a big thing

I 100% do not think this is going to happen.

By all accounts Snyder made they Haskins pick when his coaching staff didn’t necessarily want him. He’s “Snyder’s guy” and I don’t think he’ll use such a high pick to grab another QB and dump his pick from last year so quickly.

Plus, Sweat finally started playing well in the last few weeks of last season. If he can keep that up and Young is as good as advertised that can be a hell of a DE duo.

ETA: separately, didn’t Edwards get hurt training for the combine? Any word on how that has impacted his draft status?

I don’t think it will either. Just thought it was a crazy one to throw out there either

He’s “Snyder’s guy”

This right here is still the issue
That West Virginia fan tried telling me “but Bruce Allen is gone”
Snyder still has his hands all over the franchise.

I mean Bruce leaving was a big deal. Especially if Rivera is given as much leeway as he’s rumored to have.

It’s just a matter of how long can Snyder keep himself out of the way. History isn’t kind on that answer but I’m hoping he lets Rivera and the front office sans Allen do their jobs.

HOORAY FOR DRAFT DAY!!!!

I boldly predict the Dolphins will have the best draft.

I want New Orleans to draft Patrick Queen in the 1st, Edwards-Helaire in the 3rd, Cushenberry in the 4th, Thad Moss in the 5th, and acquire a player from Carolina with the 6th pick or on an UDFA deal.

I expect Goodell's basement to contain some sort of robust liquor collection in a cabinet or bar area and a statue of himself as the greatest commissioner of all time.

Hoping for a good weekend for our football program.

Whoever gets Edwards in round 3-4 is getting an absolute STEAL. Selfishly I hope it’s the packers. Wonder what he could do with a QB like Arod throwing him the ball...
