The SEC continues to dominate college football. Since 2003, there have been 16 SEC appearances in 17 BCS/CFP title games, with five different SEC programs making an appearance, and a whopping FOUR with MULTIPLE appearances (three of which come from the SEC West). The SEC's record is 11-5 in those title games, with 2 of the losses coming to another SEC program (Bama in 11 and 17).

* Alabama has an incredible seven appearances in title games in this stretch, with a record of 5-2 in those games. Alabama has also been incredible in the CFP semis, going 4-1.

* LSU has four appearances in this stretch, with a 3-1 record in title games.

* Florida went 2-0 in their two BCS title game appearances.

* Auburn is 1-1 in BCS title games, and UGA is 1-1 in the CFP.

Don't forget, Auburn should have played in the title game in 2004, but got screwed for yet another overrated Oklahoma team. It should be noted that Oklahoma was 0-3 in BCS title games in this time period, and they are 0-4 in the CFP.

In this stretch, only five other teams have won championships: USC, Texas, FSU, Ohio St and Clemson. The ACC is the only other conference with more than one title, taking three since 2013. I guess you could include the Pac-12 with two for USC, if you include that shared thing they claim for 2003.

* The Big 12 is a whopping 1-8 in BCS and playoff games. Yikes. Of course, that's mostly because of Oklahoma's absolutely abysmal performance in such games, going 0-7 with an average margin of loss of greater than 18 per game.

* The Pac-12 is 2-4 (you might include USC for the 03 title, but they sure didn't play in a title game, getting to claim the title with a win over a not great Michigan team).

* The Big 10 is 2-4 (only OSU has wins).

* ACC is 7-4, with most of those wins coming from Clemson (FSU is 1-1).

* SEC is 17-6 in all BCS and playoff games, and like I said, five different SEC teams have wins and two of those losses were to Alabama. So, the SEC is 17-4 against non-SEC programs in BCS and playoff games.

With the most recent, embarrassing the SEC by 4 touchdowns to an ACC team.

Thankfully, Daddy cleaned up your mess.

One team ain't like the other. Uga can't win a title while 4 other SEC teams can

Crazy that A1abana hasn’t won the SEC + Natty in the same season since Obana was in office.
