I just wish we’d quit giving up so many first inning runs, forcing the game to last 11 hours.

Just part of these midweek games sometimes. Plumlee and Cerentola struggled early. At least Samford has a decent team. Good win on the road, hated the sleeveless jerseys tho

Good grief y'all are expecting all star vs hs type of performances. This is college baseball and quite frankly this is one of the best early season runs State has ever had.

Yes, the midweek games are a crap shoot. Sometimes those mid majors throw their best starter at our 4th our 5th starter and get a win. Heck, we lost to Mississippi College in 1985 (arguably our most talented team).
