I don’t disagree at all. If this hire gets botched, it’s going to take many, many years for OU to recover. Oklahoma MUST find somebody that knows SEC ball and isn’t afraid of the competition. In the end, I think this will help OU in the long run. Riley’s teams don’t play the way you have to play week in and week out in this conference. We will see who gets hired and what culture can be established. But make no mistake, they must get this right

Good, realistic post. Playing in the SEC is fun, but it's tough, as my Missouri team found out. But, hey, the Tigers found a way to win a couple of SEC East crowns. Your road will be determined by how the SEC realigns with OU and Tejas coming in. If you're lucky, Bama and Auburn go East, and OU and Tejas will take their place in the West, joined by Missouri, but it's hard to see that happening without Florida and UGA screaming foul! Another, more like scenario has the SEC splitting teams into 4 pods of 4 teams each.

Hilarious. SEC fans will soon hate OU fans more than most

Would have no problem with Bama and Auburn coming East. We already play Auburn and Bama vs. UGA every year would be great for cfb. Auburn vs. Fla and Auburn vs. Tenn are also correct.
