I've never given any money to another university other than LSU. Even then, a lot of that stuff is done through big money donors and fundraising. I'll be the one to admit I don't have the money to be involved in all of that. My contribution is strictly through merchandise, ticket sales and my ESPN packages. Even in ticket sales, I don't have season tickets so I don't have to pay the extra fees.

For the purpose of this thread, Orgeron's buyout was paid through boosters. So, again, not my money. It's especially dumb to worry about what other schools are paying their coaches.

Well, naturally, the argument is that 'billionaire buffoon boosters are paying'. And they may pony up some of the cost but not all.

Regardless, LSU boosters aren't some unlimited resource. They balk just like everyone else. Plus, get enough boosters... and you end up as Texas.
