re: Golding defenders get in here

So we’re tough against the run. That’s great but everyone knows that and just like Arkansas, they tried to run it down our throats for a quarter, got stuffed so they took to the air. And just like almost every other team we’ve played, they moved it at will, driving 75 yards multiple times. And that was with their AA WR banged up pretty bad. So if we didn’t have the nation’s leading sack monster in Will Anderson, how bad would our pass defense be?

A very telling statement when Saban said on his radio show that he had to admonish Golding at times because a signal could mean 15 different things. The players are confused therefore overthinking things, and playing slow and blowing assignments. That’s not a talent problem.
