OK I will admit, I was wrong about Bama.

I now believe 10-3 this year and 1 of those losses in either Sugar Bowl, Capital One, or Cotton Bowl.

Their defense is legit as any in the country.
UGA may be a tad over rated but Bama took them too the woodshed like your suppose to an over rated team.

JPW is still not a complete QB. So therefore they are not a complete team, he will have an amazing game like tonight, then throw a clunker that will or may cost them.

Any Bama fan will tell you that is JPW in a nutshell. One minute your in awe, next your wondering WTF

I haven't thought that one time this year. He may have changed.

I suppose LSU isn't a complete team if you are going by that.

Holy crap. I thought it for sure tonight. I was in awe on the touch pass to Julio in the back of the endzone, and wondering WTF with his first pass of the second half (five yards short and in the turf)

Look at him in WKU and Tulane, not very impressive numbers at all.
So far he has shown up when the lights were on, Clemson/UGA which is a really good sign.
As long as he doesnt blow a game with needless pick or fumble then Bama will be in every game.

And yes that theory does apply to LSU. Until Lee can have more than 2 decent games LSU is in limbo. He is still a red shirt freshmen who will make mental mistakes.

They're good but if they were for real, they wouldn't let UGA come back on 'em like that.

Everybody makes a few bad throws, but my general 'WTF' feeling for JPW is a horrible INT or a sack-fumble.

WTF is how he can come out and show incredible poise against UGA and then next week say goes 11-25 165 yards and 1 TD 1 INT.

Just not consistent numbers, especially against lesser competition. (i.e. how he fared against Clemson compared to Tulane, WKU)

they gave up 31 pts in a half, for crying out loud.

That's because we run the frick out of the ball when we play mid majors.

When the game is over like that defense eases up and you start to play more a cover scheme.
I mean LSU allowed 24 to MSU which could only score 2 against AU. And 21 to AU which only scored 3 vs MSU.

They had the game in hand and got a little cocky. Considering it was a top 10 team, I expected UGA to put up some kinda a fight.

Saban has done that forever. Cut down the offense and play not to lose.

I think he does it so he can make sure the players don't get full of themselves.

and JPW has about a 50% completion percentage in those games. He should be able to complete 60-70% of passes against a mid major instead of that.

11-23 for 73 yards vs Tulane
17-27 215 2 TD 1 INT WKU
6-14 74 1 TD Ark

come on now

Absolutely. Georgia put the same thing on the scoreboard that we did when we dominated the first half. Of course, they had a punt return for td, an onside kick recovery that set up a score.

((probably some lackadaisical execution by Bama contributed to Georgia's second half, probably the same helped Bama's first half))

You're right, he hasn't played well in those games.

The things is, we don't need him to play well. His job is not frick up and make some passes to we can run the ball.

I have been extremely pleased with him to date.

Well them wouldnt that apply to LSU as well?
We dont need Lee to play well just control the ball?

All LSU needs is a clock manager, its what Flynn and Mauck were.

only issue I could see with Bama is being a young team, how do they handle the pressure. Cause now that they are Top 5, they will have bulls-eye on their back. They cant sneak up on anyone, they will have to bring their A-game.

As we witnessed today, even Ole Miss can beat ya
