Both teams started 2 true freshmen on the OL by the end of the season. (2010 had Luke Joeckel and Jake Matthews, 2021 has Bryce Foster and Reuben Fatheree) Both teams changed QBs due to injury (Calzada by necessity, Tannehill by choice). Both teams had 2 1,000 yard running backs (Gray and Michael in 2010, Spiller and Achane in 2021). Both teams had top 10 picks on the defense.
